Chapter 11

Colette wakes up in a determined mood and walks downstairs. She was greeted by Phoebe and Piper and Prue.

Colette smiles at them. "Morning guys!."
Phoebe smiles back. "Morning Colette.. What are you going to do today?."

Colette shrugs. "I thought I'd cheer myself up and go check out the library."

Phoebe nodded. "Oh great.. That's on the way to my college.. I can give you a lift if you like?."

Prue frowns at her. "And how are you going to do that without a car?.."

Phoebe grins. "Well I was hoping to borrow yours?."

Prue sighs "Fine.. But don't forget to put petrol in it on your way back this time and for Gods sake bring it back in one piece."

Prue hands Phoebe her car keys. Phoebe grinned "I won't!.. Relax I'll be back before you know it."

Colette smiled great fully. "Thanks.. If it's not too much trouble.. It's a big deal a new area and all."

Phoebe nodded understanding "You don't have to explain yourself to me."

Piper decided to go to the kitchen and She returned a few minutes later with a plate of toast for everyone. She smiled at Colette. "Help yourself to some toast before you go."

Colette grinned. "Thanks." She helped herself to some toast and Phoebe grabbed a slice too.

Phoebe winked. "Ready to go?."

Colette nodded in reply and walked out the house and into the car with her toast.

20 minutes later they arrived at the library.

Colette takes off her belt. "Thanks for this."

Phoebe smiles."Really it's no problem.. I'll come and pick you up later yeah?."

Colette nodded and exited the car. She walked into the library looking for a librarian.

She found one standing at a desk on the other side of the Libary and walked towards her.

The lady smiled. "Hello, How can I help you?."

Colette emptied her throat nervously. "I was wondering if you could help me research on someone."

The librarian nodded. "Of course.. I'll try my best.. What's the name."

Colette took a deep breath. "Cole Turner."

The librarian nodded and half an hour later came back with a dusty book and handed it to Colette with a page open.

Colette took the book and sat down to read. It read.
Cole was born in 1885 to California state assemblyman Benjamin Colerige Turner and a Woman called Elizabeth Turner.

3 years after Cole Turner was born both his father and his mother disappeared in mysterious circumstances and neither of their bodies were never found so they are both believed to be dead.

It was thought that Cole Turner's father had a argument with Cole's mother that went terribly wrong and Police believe that Elizabeth Turner killed her husband.. When he tried to take the baby away from her.
But since then neither of them have been seen alive.. It is possible that the mother went into hiding and could possibly be still alive but nobody knows for sure.

But if you research and investigate deep into this.. You will find that it is written deceased on both of their death certificates.. Even the papers believe the couple to be dead.

Colette closed the book shocked at what she had read and took it back to the librarians desk. She thanked the librarian and walked out the library seeing Phoebe in the car waiting for her.

Colette got into the car and put her belt on.
Phoebe frowned looking at Colette's face. "Is everything alright?."

Colette nodded. "Yeah.. Let's just say I learnt something in a book that I'd wish I never knew."

Phoebe looked at her with surprise. "What's that then?.."

Colette sighs. "Believe me you don't wanna know.. I'd rather not talk about it."

Phoebe drove Colette back to the manor in complete silence.

The sisters Piper and Prue were at the dining table waiting but Colette ignored them and ran up the stairs to room.

She closed her eyes desperately deciding what to do next. But she knew what she had to do.. She had to comfort him and end all this animosity between them for Phoebe's sake and hers.
