Chapter 18 Salute

The last few months were difficult.. Piper and Phoebe had to bury their oldest sister Prue after an attack by Shax.
And on top of it all Piper had found letters from her mother to her whitelighter Sam.

Colette was shocked to hear about Prue's death and promised the sisters to support them and even supported them when they found out they had another sister.

It turns out like Piper.. Her mother had also fallen for a whitelighter. But not only that... They had a child together and that child had been adopted by humans after Sam and Piper's mother
Patty Halliwell left the Child at a church.

When Piper found out about all this.. Her and her sister Phoebe was contemplating on tracking her down but somehow The source found out about Paige and ordered her dead.

Colette obviously didn't know about all the magic going on but encouraged them in finding their long lost sister.

So instead of contemplating finding her.. They were forced to find her and So Phoebe and Prue went off to try and track her down.

When they did track her down at the church her parents abandoned her at. They discovered that Paige's powers didn't work like Prue's powers did.

Paige could still move things with her mind but instead the object that she is moving is covered in blue orbs.

Phoebe worked out the reason for that is maybe because of her whitelighter side making her powers work slightly differently.

For Paige.. Discovering she had Powers had scared her.. Instead of going with Piper and Phoebe back to the manor where Phoebe promised she would be safe she ran from the very church that her parents abandoned her.

Later Phoebe had no choice but to get Cole's help knowing that Shax was after Paige.

Cole and Phoebe had found Paige on a rooftop of a building with her Boyfriend.. At the time her boyfriend had been taken over by the source and tried to attempt her to come over to the dark side.

According to Leo.. Because she is a new witch.. There is 48 hours of a deadline in which she can choose either side.. But it has to be by free will.

The source had almost convinced her when Shax had shown up and The source went back to the underworld.

And Phoebe and Cole ran to Paige's aid. Phoebe who was armed with a spell asked Paige to say the spell with her and with the spell Shax was vanquished.

Phoebe took her back to the manor and when all the sisters held hands.. The power of Three was restored.

Six months later
Phoebe woke up groggily One morning. She had been tossing and turning the whole night..Her doubts about marrying Cole were clearly getting to her.

She sat up in her bedroom and grabbed a piece of paper out of her bedside drawers and picked up a pen from the top of her drawers. She uncaps the pen and begins to write a spell on the small piece of paper and then on separate piece of paper she writes "Should I marry Cole?.

She puts the lid back on the pen.

She gets up off the bed and walks out of her room. Colette's room was just down the hall from Phoebe's room and hearing a bang of Phoebe's door she decided to investigate and check that Phoebe was okay.

She open's her bedroom door ajar and see's Phoebe walking quickly past her room heading towards the attic.

Colette decided to follow and closed her door quietly. Sure enough Phoebe was heading for the attic. Colette hid behind the wall before she turned the corner so Phoebe did'nt see her.

Phoebe turned around satisfied that she wasn't being followed by someone that shouldn't be following like Colette for example and shut the door.

She walks to the table in the attic.

She scrunches up the piece of paper with her question on it and places it in a black bowl. She then looks at the other piece of paper and recites:

  "Where love is strong my spirit weak, it is an answer that I seek, the question burns within this fire, so I may hear my heart's desire." 

Simultaneously Colette walked into the room whilst some white smokey dust filled the air from the spell working its magic and then suddenly the white smokey dust disappeared to reveal a small child and an Elderly woman.

Colette looked at this scene open mouthed. "What..The..Hell?!."
She turned high on her heel.. And ran right out of the room out of fear.

Phoebe runs after her. "Colette wait!." She runs down the stairs after Colette and accidentally runs into Pipersnd her sister Paige as Colette manages to run right out the door.

"Woah Phoebe.. Where's the fire?." Phoebe looks at Piper and Paige sheepishly. "I'm sorry Piper I've done something bad.
Piper bites her lip. "How bad?.."

Phoebe swallowed. "Put it this way.. Colette witnessed me using my Powers and now we have an old lady and a very small child up in our attic and I think The old lady might be The future me and the kid is well.. Past me.."

Piper groans. "Phoebe?!.. How can you be so irresponsible?!..

Paige sighs. "I'm just glad it's not me.. That screwed up this time.."

Phoebe sighs. "I don't need the lectures right now.."

Piper folds her arms. "Fine.. Your mess.. Your plan.. Presuming you have a plan that is?."

Paige blinks. "Do you have a plan?."

Phoebe nodded. "You guys keep Future me and Past me here whilst I go after Colette."

Paige groans. "So.. After months of me training and learning how to be a witch.. I'm now a babysitter."

She looks at Piper. "Is this normal.."

Piper shakes her head. "In these situations.. Usually but Paige you really should learn by now.. Nothing's normal in this family."

Paige nodded. "Good point"

As Piper and Paige head up to the attic. Phoebe grabs her coat and exits the manor attempting to track Colette down.
