Chapter 23

Colette woke up the next morning hearing the biggest bang and crash that she had ever heard.

"What the hell was that?.."

Colette bites her lip thinking it would maybe be a demon and thought perhaps it was the girls battle and that she should leave them to it.

Besides how could she help?.. She was pretty much powerless and fragile as the next human being.

She heard another almighty crash. "Oh for gods sake!.."

She quickly put a shirt and trousers on and ran downstairs.

What she saw was in fact a Ten foot.. No.. 20 foot monster that was as tall as the house.

She looked up to the top of his body. He had horns on his head and a ring through his nose.

Leo was standing with the girls cowering with them looking at Colette. He gulps. "You do realise what this is?."

Piper and Paige and Phoebe shook heads simultaneously.

"That.." Said Leo.. "Is a Minotaur."

Colette gasps. "Half man.. Half bull.. But.. That's a myth.."

Paige snorts. "Does that look like a myth to you?.. He doesn't even respond to our powers."

The bull looked at Colette thinking about attacking.

Colette looked at Leo and then back at the Minotaur. "What?... What do I do?.."

Leo shrugs. "There's nothing you can do.. Just run!!."

Piper nodded. "Yeah.. Preferably before it destroys the rest of the house."

Colette turned around and ran out into the kitchen and out the back door with The Minotaur straight behind her.

Phoebe frowned. "That's wierd..It wasn't interested in us.. It was interested in her.

Piper shrugs. "Who cares.. Just look at the state of the manor!.. Grams would kill us if she was here."

Phoebe looks at her growling. "Don't you see?.. We have to help her."

Piper shakes her head. "I don't think so.. We were well rid of her if you ask me.. She's been causing trouble ever since she arrived."

Paige sighs. "Oh come on Piper she's just a kid."

Piper ignored her and began the cleanup operation of the manor.
