Chapter 32

Colette woke up groggily the next morning.
Percy was standing over her grinning. "You're finally awake then sleepy head?.. Chiron's on the warpath."

Colette frowns sitting up. "Uh.. He is?.. What have I done wrong this time?.."

Percy's eyes rolled. "Don't you remember what day it is?.."

Colette bit her lip. "Damn it!!.. I'm late for capture the flag aren't I?."

Percy nodded. "It's bad enough your always late for training.. I sure wouldn't like to be in you're shoes.."

Colette groaned. "I expect this lecture from Tyson or Annabeth or even Chiron but not you.. You're supposed to be my brother."

Percy sighs. "So is Tyson.. You're point being?.."

Colette gets up sitting on the bed. "You know I'm new to all this.. The last thing I need is argument after argument.."

Percy nodded sarcastically. "Oh?.. What is it you need then?.."

Colette stood up and got into his face. "I need space and time to get over this."

Percy shrugs. "Well I'm sorry that's not gonna happen.. You need to get your act together because sooner or later you're going to get yourself killed or worse us all in the process."

Percy pushed Colette onto the bed and stormed out leaving colette alone with her thoughts.

She quickly got dressed and ran toward the armoury where several demigods was fitting her up with armour.

One of the demigods passed her Percy's watch which he gave her.

She places the watch on her wrist which then turns into a shield.

She ran toward the clearing where the red team which had Annabeth and a few others and of course the Blue team which had Percy and other people from other cabins also.

Chiron eyed her angrily. "You're late."

Colette nodded. "That's clearly obvious.. Glad you didn't start without me."

Percy muttered. "We might as well have started without her otherwise we'll get killed."

Colette turned around. "Excuse me?.. What is your problem?."

Percy walked toward her and poked her chest. "You're my problem."

Colette poked him back. "This is all because of Poseidon isn't it?.. You've still got daddy issues and you're taking it out on me.. The new recruit or should I say the latest in line to Poseidon children?.

Colette and Percy lifted up their swords about to fight when Chiron stepped in. "Enough!!.. You two are supposed to be on the same team and more than that you're siblings for goodness sake."

Annabeth steps forward. "Chiron's right you need to sort this out before we have a real battle with a real monster or Titan."

Colette looks at Annabeth. "Keep out of this You Know it all!"

Percy pushed her over. "Don't you ever talk to my girlfriend like that again."

Annabeth sighs looking at Chiron. "There's only one way to sort this.. "

She points at Colette."She's going to have to join my team so they can sort out their issues."

Chiron nodded. "I agree Annabeth.."

Colette got up and took off the blue helmet and threw it at Percy.

The helmet bounced off Percy's head with Percy yelling "Ouch!.. She's so gonna regret that."

Chiron nodded. "Save it for the battlefield."

Colette walked over and stood with Annabeth.

Annabeth passed her a spare Blue helmet.

She places the helmet on just as Chiron blew the whistle starting the game.

As Colette and Annabeth got into position. Colette looked at Annabeth. "So how are we doing this?.. Offence or Defence."

Annabeth looked at her. "You're doing nothing..You're guarding the flag."

Annabeth took her to where the red flag was which was by a river.

Colette shook her head. "Oh no I don't think so.. I deserve to be where the action is don't you think?."

Annabeth rolls her eyes. "1) You haven't proved yourself yet and secondly What you just did back there to your own brother and the rest of the camp proved your not a team player so until then You're guarding the flag."

Colette was about to Protest.. When Annabeth left to get into Position.

The battle has started both sides had their own flags and the objective was to capture the other teams flag before they do so.

The teams are not allowed to maim or injure otherwise they will lose their privileges.

The winners have extra Privileges like extra bathroom time and other things.

Colette decided to sit on a rock next to the flag. 

Her elbow was resting on her legs and she was in a rubbish mood after the day's events.

She didn't really want to be angry with Percy but the truth was she brought this on herself.

She hadn't been sleeping ever since Poseidon had brought her here and claimed her but the thing that really blew her away was the fact all this mess was created by someone that she knew and that was Cole himself.

Colette sighed and decided when Percy eventually came for the flag she would apologise.
