Colette woke up shivering on the cold floor. Her eyes were red and blotchy from the tears. The tears that fell as if she had been through this for years and the irony is that she indeed had but she was equally desperate for this dreadful nightmare to be over.

She wanted things to return back to normal but that is the question, When your in this situation, What is normal anyway?

She wondered if there was actually any hope left for her and Cole or whether like him and Phoebe..Doomed for ever.

She has constantly racked her brains about what she sees in Cole. What was it?. What was the attraction? Lust? Or was it just the magical attraction of the mysteries that the dark side brings. The dark side in Cole was what pulled her in after all. But it wasn't a spell, It was more or less an idea. An idea of what it's like to be bad.

Being bad Colette supposed does of course have its qualities. No rules and if your a high level demon there's no need to answer to anyone.

Then of course there's the instant respect. It does feel good to be bad. But then before the kids died there were problems between her and Cole then. She felt torn between the two worlds that she was introduced to. Between being a witch or a Demon but which to be?. She knew then she couldn't be both but she naively thought that she could have Cole and the life she had before just like Phoebe had before her.

She remembers how much of a war it was inside her head for her. She shook her head. "Ergh.Bad,Bad Memories."

She growled at herself. "Why did Cole have to be so infuriating and why did she have to be jumping to his tune all the time."

Back then of course he had forced her to make a choice. She felt as if she didn't have one but nevertheless she became the queen of the underworld anyway and helped Cole with rallying the troops and making sure any demon doesn't step a foot out of line. She enjoyed that and the fact the other demons feared her but most of all that invincible feeling that if anyone were to touch her even though she had some pretty nifty strong powers on her own that Cole would vanquish any of his demons in the blink of an eye.

But then of course the kids came along and she struggled with the idea of what their future would be like. She didn't want them to be pushed into making the choice she made. After all she was half witch and half demon wasn't she? Or at least she was until this whole Wizard/Demigod thing came along and whatever the hell she is.

Cole would probably never help her find the truth and never help her label what she is exactly.

She sighed. She decided something had to be done whether she got answers or not.
