Chapter 9

After Phoebe had managed to get Colette to stay, Things in the household between Phoebe and Cole had got strained.

Colette heard their arguments every morning and everyday she felt a pang of guilt knowing it was down to her. She felt like packing her bags and running away after all she had succeeded in running away before..She just had to convince Phoebe she could take care of herself.

Colette ran down the stairs as fast as she could accidently running into Phoebe.

Phoebe gets up dusting herself off looking at Colette concerned. "Colette where are you going in a big hurry?."

Colette shrugged. "I'm causing problems for you.. So I best be going."

Phoebe sighed. "Colette..It's no big deal..I'm sure it will all sort it in the end."

Colette nodded. "I hope so..for our sake."

As the days turned to weeks..They slowly turned to months and things for Phoebe hadn't got any better.

It had got to the point in Phoebe's and Cole's relationship where they were contemplating divorce.

For Cole, The whole situation had angered him..He even thought of revenge against Colette..After all it was all her fault.

Cole sat in his office sitting at his desk clearly angry and frustrated. He pushed all off his stuff off his desk and they fell off the desk with an almighty crash.

Suddenly Phoebe walks into the room.
He smiles at her. "Hey.."

Phoebe smiles sadly. "We uh need to talk."

Cole nodded. "Yeah.. We do.." He sighs "Phoebe I love you."

Phoebe shrugs. "You have a funny way of showing it."

Cole hangs his head sadly and looks down at the mess he created. He starts picking everything up off the floor and places it on his desk.

"You're right Phoebe.. It takes a lot for a guy to admit when he's wrong but I was wrong.. Can you please give us another chance."

Phoebe slowly smiles glad that he had apologised. "Apology accepted.. But it's not just me that you have to apologise to."

He nodded. "Right, I'll apologise to Piper and Leo and Prue then."

Phoebe slaps him playfully. "I was talking about Colette."

He rolls his eyes. "Do I have to?."

Phoebe nodded. "Unless you want me to change my mind of course."

He grins "Was that a threat?.. If that was we really need to work on that.."

Phoebe laughs at him. "So are you going to apologise to her".

He nodded. "For you.. Yes of course I will.. First thing tomorrow."

Phoebe kisses him. "Cole it would really mean a lot to me if you would be nice to her and get on with everybody."

He chuckles "Well Piper and Prue might be a bit difficult but I'll try and get on with them."

Phoebe raises her eyebrow.

He sighs in reply. "Even Colette."

Phoebe hugs him gratefully. "Trust me.. You won't regret it."

They walk out the office together with Cole's arm around her and headed straight for Phoebe's home.
