Chapter 12

Colette wakes up the following morning. After a terrible night's sleep of tossing and turning wondering desperately what to do..She could see no other way but to confront him.

She decided to ask either Piper or Prue to drop her off down at Cole's place. She quickly got dressed and ran downstairs.

"Woah..Someone's in a hurry."

Colette looked up and realized that she narrowly missed colliding with Piper. "Oh, I'm so sorry.. I wasn't concentrating."

Piper rolls her eyes thinking. "In another world more like.." 

Colette looked sad and confused causing Piper some concern "Is Everything alright?."

Colette nodded and then shook her head violently. "Actually..no its not would you mind doing me a favour?."

Piper frowned. "Sure..What is it?."

Colette swallowed nervously. "Can you drop me off down at Cole's please?."

Piper sighs. "Sure.. Is everything okay with you two?."

Colette shrugs. "I'm hoping it will be..and Piper?."

Piper grabs her coat and looks at her. "Yeah?."

Colette grabs her own coat and looks at her worriedly. "I'd prefer it if you didn't tell Phoebe that I'm going to Cole's today."

Piper frowns. "Why not?.. She is my sister after all."

Colette nodded. "I know but things are bad enough as it is and I want to be able to fix it."

Piper sighs. "And if you can't?."

Colette shrugs. "At least I'll know I tried."

They exited the manor together and got in the car.

When they arrived a little while later Colette looked out the window of the car looking at where Cole supposedly lived. "Wow.. I'm impressed."

Piper smiles. "That's being a lawyer for you.."

Colette looked at Piper. "He's a lawyer?."

Piper nodded. "And a damn good one too before he lived here he lived in a apartment loft."

Colette raised her eyebrow. "Obviously he must've been really good at his job then to get where he is now".

Piper shrugs. "Me and Prue have never really liked him but we tolerate him for Phoebe's sake."

Colette nodded. "And that's why I'm doing this now for her sake.. I'll see you later okay?.. I'll find my own way back."

Piper nodded. "Okay if your sure.."

Colette smiled warmly. "I'm more than sure."

She exited the car and watched as Piper drove away.

Colette turned around and walked into the lobby. She walked toward a man standing at the desk.

"Hi.. I'm looking for Cole Turner."

The man with very little hair smiled and said. "You want the top floor." He pointed to the lift.

Colette smiled "Thanks." And walked toward the lift.

She pressed the button and waited impatiently for the lift to come.

When it finally arrived she rushed into the lift and pressed the very top button that said Penthouse.

When it finally reached the top. The doors opened and Colette saw Cole looking at her.

"What are you doing here?.. Don't you think you've caused enough trouble as it is?."

Colette exited the lift and sighed. " I'm not here for trouble Cole.. I'm actually here to apologise."

He folds his arms. "Oh?. Is that right?."

Colette nodded. "I shouldn't have said what I said before.. I should've known that you would have your reasons for not trusting me."

Cole nodded. "I have tons of them and none of them good."

Colette shrugged. "That's your problem but you can't blame what happened to your parents on everyone else you know.."

Cole frowned. "What are you talking about?."

Colette shrugged. "Well I went to the Libary and I read that your dad and your mom went missing when you were 3 years old."

Cole shakes his head. "I don't know where you got that from but it's none of your business."

Suddenly a woman comes into the room Glitening. It was the seer.

Colette's eyes widen in horror. She didn't know what just happened but at the same time she didn't want to know but she had a sneaking suspicion that it was nothing good.

Cole looked angrily at the seer. "Leave me!."

The Seer bowed and Glisten's out the room exactly as she came.

Cole looked at Colette suspiciously. "Don't tell Phoebe what you just witnessed otherwise there will be serious consequences."

Colette turned around on her heel and pressed the button of the lift and ran into it.

When the lift reached the ground floor she ran out of the lift and out of the lobby.

She ran and ran as far as she could with absolutely no intention of stopping.
