Chapter 50-Forever may you run

Colette just didn't know what to do except from wandering around the streets aimlessly with no particular direction. She didn't know where the portal was and she did not know even if it was still there..Wherever there was..

This whole world was so new to her yet all she desperately wanted to go back home but at the same time she didn't. It felt to her like her feelings were at war with themselves.

Did she really wanna go back there to where all the bad memories began?. Truthfully she was'nt sure. She knew she had family back there but since her and Cole had got together and she displayed her powers..She had isolated herself from them.

She walked down a road and saw a pub down at the bottom. "Well..Drowning my sorrows is a good start I suppose."

She walked into the bar and made herself at home. She gestured at the bartender. "Vodka and Coke..Make it a double.."

How long she sat there she didn't know.. Half an hour or maybe more but she didn't pay attention to the man who just walked in the bar and sat next to her.

He grinned. "Are you nursing that drink or are you actually gonna drink it?."

She frowned. "What's it to you?" She turned to look at the speaker and realised with a start who it was. "Cole..What are you doing here?.."

He shrugged. "Same reason as you I guess..Look I came to see if you were okay.."

Colette sighs. "Does it look like I'm okay Cole?.."

Cole groans. "Look I get that you think that this is messed up okay?..But I really do think this will help us and if it does'nt work then we can always come back."

Colette looks at him angrily. "Really Cole?..You think some strange new world is gonna fix us just like that?!."

Cole shakes his head. "Did I say that?.. No I didn't. I'm actually trying to help you here."

Colette growls angrily. "Has it ever occurred to you that maybe I don't want to be coming back here all the time just because one of your stupid plans didn't work..Because this will not fix us.."

Colette takes her Vodka and coke and takes a quick swig of it before pouring it all over Cole.

As she attempts to leave Cole grabs her arm.

Cole taunts her. "Oh here we go again..On with the running and never facing her problems head on."

Colette turned around and slapped him. "How dare you.. I have a family back there and I never even told my mother about you and now her grandchildren who she didn't know about by the way because of you and our powers.."

Cole frowned. "How is it my fault?."

Colette rolled her eyes sarcastically. "Hmm lets see.. Its you're fault because one you convinced me that me and you would be good together regardless of hurting phoebe and two I couldn't tell my mother because all these years I have made excuses for you to myself and to Phoebe and the girls so I never told her incase she colours her view of you as a bad person!."

Cole laughs. "Isn't that the point though?.. You know deep in you're heart that I am bad but I can be good you've seen that.. However you've always told me you're attracted to bad guys so here we are..You end up married to one.."

Colette nodded. "That's true but never thought I would get hurt by one.. You attracted me to the dark side and that was when I was blinded to the truth and I realised that even me being a demon marrying you meant I was'nt invincible to you."

Cole released her arm and grabbed her hand. "You know I never meant to urt you..Please just give this a try.."

Colette sucks her cheeks. "Fine..I'' give this stupid Idea a try but do not expect me to give my new sister a warm welcome or call you dad."

Cole raised his eyebrow. "Sorry but those are the rules.. We don't want anyone to be suspicious or change anything about this world."

Colette frowned. "Since when did you care about that?..You change things all the time and the words personal gain does not go into your dictionary."

He looks at her quizzically. "I'm a demon usually we don't worry about those kind of things but this time..I'm hoping to do things by the book."

Colette smirked. "That all depends on how much of a good girl I am and If I fully cooperate right?.."

Cole nodded. "Obviously.. Now go home and get some sleep its a big day tomorrow your first day at school."

Colette groans at Cole. "Of all the places you could have sent me ..You sent me back to school?..Sometimes I just hate magic."

Cole grins as he watches her leave and turns to the bar tender. "Whisky please."
