I'd wanted one thing for my 15th birthday. My boyfriend. Chandler. I missed him more than anything on earth.
I moved to LA last summer to begin my job acting on a programme my uncle was directing. So I got my own flat and before I knew it I had a close knit family of friends in America.
Only problem was I had to carry on as the channel broadcasting the show wouldn't stop ordering season after season! So my flat became permanent and my friends became even more of my family.
With so much going on with chandler and his acting career we rarely managed to actually travel to one another.
He can't even make it for my birthday and that kills me.
*on the day
I woke up and had some Snapchats from my sister and other family members wishing me a happy birthday. I went to my kitchen and picked up the mail from my door as I passed.
I had some tweets off fans and cast members. I spent the morning eating breakfast and watching some fan edits and replying to comments, until my mum rang me.
Y- you
M- mum
D- dad
M&D- HAPPY BIRTHDAY Y/N!!!!
Y- thank you guys!!
M- how's your morning?
Y- good I'm going into work for a bit but I only have one scene they said!
D- sounds fun hey?
Y- yeah everything's great!
M- that's brilliant, make sure you see your uncle terry today, he wants to wish you happy birthday.
Y- of course!
Y- have you heard from Chan recently?
M- uh-hh nope
D- no not at all.
I knew they were hiding something.
M- we've gotta go but have a great day and sorry we can't be with you.
Y- its fine.
M&D- love you!!
Y- love you too.
I put down my mobile and closed my laptop.
I had a quick shower, got dressed and took an uber to the set. My uncle was waiting outside my trailer.
"Happy birthday Y/N"
He wrapped me in a big bear hug.
"Cheers terry, love you"
"We have quite a busy day you have makeup and clothes right now!"
"Now?" I began to panic.
I rushed to make up as Terry took my bag and coat to my trailer. Everyone wished me a good day as I rushed to put on a sparkly blue dress.
To tell the truth I loved it, my character had edge and I never did so I felt this whole different person getting her false eyelashes put on.
Then Terry turned up to tell everyone to quickly leave. They all hurried out.
"Come on Y/N, we don't have long!" He grabbed my arm and I slipped on my heels as I left the door running back in nearly forgetting my phone on the table.
He lead me into a dark room I'd never seen, presumably a new set.
"SURPRISE!!!" the whole cast and crew jumped out in front of me.
I cried. Everyone was dressed up and looked incredible. Music began to play and my own party was happening in the studio. It was perfect.
"Terry, I love it. I love you" I grabbed him into a hug and muzzled my face.
"This isn't all though"
He put his hands on my shoulders and span me round.
There stood my parents and sister!
I screamed and ran so happy to see them all.
"We have a surprise!" Mum said.
"Not another one" I joked, so much had already happened.
That's when I saw him. Over my dads shoulder.
Chandler.
I ran right into his arms. He grabbed me by the waist and span me round as I wrapped my legs around his body.
"You're here" I cried.
"Always here" he laughed and I noticed the tears rolling down his face as he smiled at me.
Then he grabbed my face.
"I've waited too long" he told me.
His lips touched mine, I pulled him closer and it felt perfect. I could feel how hard he'd missed me yet he remained calm and gentle.
I guess my birthday wish had come true. My favourite people all in one place.
