(A/N: requests plzzzz)

~

He was new at our school. The famous actor and everyone wanted to be his friend. Everyone but me, I couldn't care less, he seemed big headed.
And the people he hung round with I hated even more.
I had managed to avoid him until one lunchtime when I was walking across campus to the music block to prepare for a show I had coming up.
I walked past the populars trying hard to be unnoticed. Thing was I'm the only good DJ around so I often do parties for them and as much as I hate them, they pay well. So I act like I get along with them as much as I can.
I smiled at Alex, who's party I'd just worked at and he called me over.
"Hey y/n over here!"
I sighed subtly and walked over to him and a few others.
"Hi guys!" I knew most of them so it wasn't that bad, I'd it wasn't for Mr. Riggs, child actor staring me down.
"Y/n could you do me a favour?" I turned back to Alex.
"Depends"
"You headed to music?"
"Yeah why?"
"Well chandler is having a party soon and wanted to hear some of your stuff."
"That's what Facebook is for"
Chandler spoke up.
"I just want to see how good you are short notice that's all."
"So can you?" Alex pleaded.
"I dunno I'm pretty busy today."
"It'll only be 15 minutes I promise" now chandler was pleading.
"Fine" I sighed.
A small group had formed now and they all cheered when I agreed that shocked me.

I unlocked the room with my setup in and chandler followed me inside.
"Woahhh, is this yours"
"Yeah. My gear I just rent the room, I get more done here than at school and plus I don't have the room at home anyway!"
"Niceee"
I started setting up my kit, blocking out his stare with my headphones.

I watched his eyes light up as the music started and I played probably the best I had in weeks. Once I was done I asked if he wanted to have a go. He was nervous to say yes but I let him play around for a while and to be rightfully honest he wasn't as big headed as I expected and I understood why he was so adored.

"I should be going" he said after a while.
"Oh is lunch over?" I checked my phone. He nodded sheepishly and said thanks. I called after him.
"Chandler, I have frees all afternoon I'm spending them here. But if you want to come down after school I can show you some more tricks?"
"That'd be great" he replied beaming.
"Alright see you then."

I spent the remaining hours before chandler returned recording and perfecting tracks for my show. But still when he did turn up I was surprisingly happy to have his company. I got to know him a lot better in the next hour or two and asked if he could come along to see me at the show before asking me to also play his party. I agreed to both pretty eagerly and said that I might need his help setting up at the show.

Chandler gave me a ride home that night, promising to drive me to the show in two days time.

I heard three beeps of a horn and checked out my window. He was here already, I rushed down the stairs grabbing my bag and spare headphones.
"Who's that?" My mum asked seeing the unfamiliar car as I opened the door.
"A friend. I gotta go bye!" She raised her eyebrows and laughed wishing me luck before I raced off.
Chandler helped me load the car at the school and we drove the 30 minutes to the venue.
"You nervous?" He asked. I wrung my hands together and nodded. "Don't be y/n you're amazing!" He rested a hand on my thigh and rubbed leg reassuringly.
I blushed and just looked out the window my hands still shaking.

Mike, who owned the venue was an old friend of mine but I still got nervous playing at his club. Even though he tells me he gets a great response from customers, each time I still worry about every little thing.
I hauled the gear in with chandler helping out like the gentleman he's turned out to be and started putting everything together while the last couple of wires were coming in.
"Got everything?" Chandler asked scaring me.
"Oh god! Uh yeah sorry."
He laughed at my face as I tried to hide my embarrassment.

The set went amazingly and every now and then I'd look backstage to see chandler smiling encouragingly.
We packed everything back into his car and he dropped me off at his house.
"You sure your parents are okay with all my stuff at your place?"
"They're not even bothered that I'm having a massive party, don't sweat it buddy!"
I crumbled a little at the nickname.
"Well thanks, I'll see you at 4 tomorrow then!"
"See ya!"
With that he drove off and I walked in the front door. As I shut it behind me I grinned and leant against it sighing.
My mum came in and rolled her eyes at me.
"Didn't think you'd be one to fall in love!" But I didn't care. I just wanted to see chandler again.

~

He opened the door with wide arms and pulled me into a hug.
"You're here!" I squirmed a little.
"Yup I am, and I can't breath"
He released me and pulled me inside.

"I thought we'd have you outside, but still covered by the porch. Is that all good?"
"As long as I have power!"
"There's plenty of power"
"Well let's get started."

We set up all fine and still had another hour before people would start turning up. He handed me a beer and we chilled by his pool in the evening sun. I yawned, still tired out from the night before.
"You better not fall asleep halfway through the party"
"And why not!" I joked. He laughed and pulled me onto his lap teasingly.
"Because y/n, if you fall asleep. Who am I supposed to kiss?"
"Well chandler, there are a lot of other girls who would happily kiss you tonight"
He sighed and pulled me even closer.
"But that's just it, they might happily kiss me but I wouldn't be happy kissing any of them. I'd only be happy kissing you"
"Well. You're gonna have to wait till I haven't fallen asleep"
I turned away to irritate him further.
"Y/n" he whispered in my ear huskily. "You're not asleep now" I turned back smirking and he winked pulling me in.
