The endless days we spent together, laughing and playing. Even if we fell or cried, we were still only kids and by the time the next day rolled around we would be back on top of that old climbing frame again. Chandler had been my first friend, since we were 4 years old, long before I would worry about looks and grades. The only thing that would worry us would be how long we had left before our tired mothers would have to drag us home in time for tea. Endless days, that I never forgot with him. Until the one day we had to join school. After that we grew apart, always somehow finding each other as the years went by. Neither one of us quite forgot about the other. Right up until the end of school.

He had always been so much more confident than me, he had dreams of being an actor. Last time I saw him that's what he was going to do, joining a company. Me on the other hand, I became the manager of a little café just outside of my hometown. Met my boyfriend Jim, who had walked in one day and left his number on a receipt for me. He was sweet then.

Too sweet. Jim had secrets that he'd never told me and a side to him that could've scared anyone. I had to get away from his suffocating trap. I just wasn't too sure how to go about it alone, I'd left my family to be with him. Foolish I know, but thats young love for you at least.

Chandler.
"I'm sick of you chandler, all you do is whine whine whine!"
All I'd said was that my day was tough, I'd been filming in the heat all morning then press interviews until late at night.
"Sorry."
"You don't even stand up for yourself you're pathetic!"
I stood at the sink, her shrill voice playing over in my head as I washed the dishes silently. The stars were bright outside in the night sky, it had gone dark now and Lisa had screamed at me for coming home late. It wasn't as bad as it usually is, last time she locked me out. I ended up sleeping in my car and having to go back to work wearing the same clothes. She doesn't trust me with a key to the house, thinks I'll go behind her back and steal from her.

My mind had strayed from her words and I didnt even notice the plate slipping through my hands until the crash against the kitchen tiles.
"Shit!" I muttered going to pick up the shards of china.
"What have you done now? Oh for fucks sake chandler you piece of shit!" She slapped my head, unbalancing me as I was squatting down.
I stood up to put the remains in the bin.
"Outside!" I went to the bin outside and tipped it away. I walked back up to the door and she threw a bag at me. "You're useless... Just leave you pathetic prick!"

I was sick of her shouting and abuse. I took the bag and grabbed my keys saying nothing just walking out to the car. I decided my real home would be best.
