Lara handed me the box.
"You're my saviour!" I thanked her. "And your favourite cousin too, don't forget that!"
"I won't"
I gave her one last hug and shoved the cigarettes deep into my coat pocket.
Grey stepped forward.
"I think I may be able to top best cousin award" he announced.
He brought out a lighter up to my face.
"Happy birthday champ" he handed it to me. "Oh and look" he flipped it upside down to see the base. My initials were carved in silver lettering.
"Grey thank you I love it and thank you lara. You two have tied I'm sorry."
They laughed and turned to look into the station.
"That's your train" I said nodding towards the platform.
"Alright bye y/n" lara gave me one last hug.
"Sorry we're leaving now" grey said as I waved the two of them off.
I walked out into the cold street and felt two warm hands cover my eyes from behind.
"Guess?" A deep voice asked.
"Is it perhaps my obsessive boyfriend?" I asked.
The hands were removed and I was spun round.
"No, but your extremely amazing boyfriend is here."
"I can't see him" I joked.
Chandler just gave me a quick kiss on the lips.
"Oh look what I got" I pulled out the box and waved them in his face.
"That's very helpful but how will we ligh-" I waved the lighter in his face.
And he smiled. I took his hand and we walked the streets to my house.
"So, y/n we have a box of cigarettes. No cousins at your house anymore and a week of partying ahead of us."
"I dunno, maybe the two of us could be just as fun" I smirked cheekily at him.
And he winked back at me.
"I like your thinking."
I took out a cigarette, placing one between my lips and lighting it. Then placing one on chandlers lips and lighting it for him. We walked hand in hand puffing smoke to heat us up in the winters air.
