Fading Scars.

Chapter 5

I woke up this morning and Josh wasn't in the bed. So, I got up and went downstairs. He wasn't there either. I checked in the window to see if he was outside, but without luck, the driveway was car free. I took my phone and texted him.

'Where are you?'

He texted back immediatly.

'Starbucks, I'll be home in 5.'

Starbucks. I loved starbucks! Anyway, he came back and handed me my coffee, "You're the best." I said, "I know." he started laughing.

"I have to go home today, my mom wants to talk to me." Josh told me. "About what?" I asked, "She wants to have THE conversation with me, you know. She knows about you and me, so yeah." he looked embarrassed, "She knows we went out?" Josh didn't tell his mother about our date, how could she know? "Yeah, your father told her." he smirked at me. Daddy! This was so embarrassing, "He also told my mother that you were pretty exicted when you told him." he was laughing a little, and I was blushing hard, "Don't blush Aly, I think this is really cute." he told me, holding me in his arms. "Yeah.." I was still blushing, he gave me a plenty of kisses all over my face, and I was now laughing.

"Well, I gotta go now." he said, "Already?" I pouted, "Yeah, she's going to work soon." Josh explained to me, "Your mom is always working. Isn't she tired?" if I was her, I'd be freaking tired of working almost every single day. "We need the money Aly." Josh said in a serious tone, "I know but she should take some time off. She deserves it." I suggested, even though I knew Josh's mom worked so they could live life like a normal family, and not struggled because they lived on one salary.  , "Anyway, it's none of my business. I will go see my Dad soon too. I'll text you?" I was still in his arms, "Yeah sure. I should be back for lunch." he said, kissing my head, "Okay, see you later big boy." he laughed and he was gone.

I was getting ready and the door bell rang. I opened the door and I saw him standing there. "What are you doing here?" I asked. Ben was there, my brother who told me to kill myself. "I heard about Dad," he said, "I came to see him." he continued. "He's at the hospital." I said, kinda harsh, "Can I come in?" he asked,  "No. Now bye." I was about to close the door but he stopped it with his foot. "Come on, Aly. We can't act like this anymore." Ben said, "I don't care, I just don't wanna talk to you, now go away." I was getting angry and he saw it, "Calm down Aly, I just wanna talk to you." maybe we needed to talk, "I was about to go see Dad, you have 5 minutes." I told him,  letting him enter the house.

"So, how are you?" Ben asked, "I'm good." I answered, "I'm glad to hear that." he smiled, "Listen Aly, I'm sorry." Ben was looking sincere. I didn't say anything. "Aly, I'm trying here!" he kept talking, "I didn't mean it when I told yo-" I cut him, "When you told me to kill myself?" I was becoming angry again, "I was frustrated about the whole mom-jail thing." he told me, "Yeah well, I don't care." I was harsh and I liked it. I could actually handle it more than I thought I ever could. I was scared to be in the same room as him not too long ago, and now I was confronting him. "I think you should go now." I told him. He opened the door, "I'm sorry Aly. I'm here for you, don't forget that." and he was out.

I was so angry that I started crying. I was screaming and throwing everything on the floor, breaking things. I took one of my blade and slid it across my skin. Just one on my thigh so Josh wouldn't see it. I was automatically feeling better after. I washed myself and went at the hospital. I wasn't telling him anything about Josh and I, it was so embarrassing this morning.

"He kissed me!!!" I told my Dad. I know I wasn't suppose to, but he was my only friend besides Josh who I could talk to. "He kissed you?" my Dad asked. "Are you his girlfriend now?" was I his girlfriend? I didn't know. No. Of course not. "I don't know, we just kissed." I said, "When two people kiss, it's because they like each other, no?" he asked, ''I guess, I don't know. It's not the same thing nowadays, Daddy.'' I said, chuckling, "But now, keep that to you please!" I continued, "How'd you know?" he asked, "Josh told me." I said, looking at him. He was really sick, he would have to leave soon..

"Ben came this morning." I said, "Why" he was becoming serious now, "He wanted to talk." I said, "He said he was sorry.." I finished, "And what did you told him?" he was concerned about this, "To leave, I'm not ready to talk to him yet." I said. My Dad smiled, "Take your time Aly. You totally deserve it. And need it."

My Dad was tired, so I went home. Josh wasn't there yet, so I put some music on and cleaned a little. One hour later, Josh was here and he didn't look happy. "Hey, what's up?" I asked, "My mom is such a bitch!" flash news, mine too. Josh never talked like that before about his mom, so I guess it was important, "What happened?" he was really angry, more than me earlier, "She doesn't want us to date." I said, "What? Why?" that was hard to heard, "She doesn't know you, she doesn't think it's a good idea and she said I deserve better. She's a fucking bitch!" he was screaming his last words. That hurt to be honest, I just wanted to cry. Exactly, she didn't know me, how could she know that Josh deserve better? "A-Are you going to listen to her?" I wasn't sure how to ask this question. Josh's face softened and he walked toward me, "Aly, don't you ever think I will listen to her. I like you, I don't care what she says about it. You're mine." he smiled and kissed me. I hugged him and I could hear him laughing, "Why are you laughing?" I asked, laughing too, "You're blushing." he said. He needed to stop laughing everytime I blushed! "Josh!" I said, he kissed my cheek and talked, like always.

"Ben came this morning." his eyes became big, he was pretty surprised, I guess. "What happened?" he asked, "He told my he was sorr-" oh crap. I totally forgot! I didn't told Josh why I wasn't talking to my brother anymore. I just told him he left me and my father.

"He was what?" he asked, "Sorry, yeah he came here to apologize." I said, "For leaving you and your dad?" Josh was looking at me, waiting for an answer, "Yeah, anyway, I don't wanna talk about it anymore." I lied, "I understand."

Josh was staying the night at my house, we where in the living room and we were watching my favorite show Teen Wolf.

"Oh my god, he's so good looking." I said, "More than me?" Josh asked, I laughed and kissed him. "I'm going to make us dinner." he said getting up of the sofa, "You're the best." I told him, smiling, "I'm the best boyfriend in the world, I know." he smirked and kissed me, again. He called himself  My boyfriend. I didn't have to worry now, he was my boyfriend and I was his girlfriend. That sounded strange. I've never been called Girlfriend.

Well, there was a start to everything.
