Chapter 21

Josh's P.O.V

''AHHHHHH!'' Aly screamed, again. Since we talked about what happened, she had nightmares every night. I shook her body to wake her up. ''Aly, come on wake up.'' I said, still shaking her body. She opened her eyes and screamed again. I took her in my arms and comfort her. She was crying. I hated seeing her like that. It was my fault. I talked to her about that. I brought the memory back. She was doing fine before. She looked at me and and shook her head, ''I'm sorry.'' she cried. I took her face in my hands and wiped the tears on her cheeks. She wasn't looking at me anymore. ''Babe, look at me.'' I said, but she shook her head. ''Why?'' I whispered. I didn't want to rush her or anything, so even if it was 3:41 in the morning, I would take the time to talk to her. ''It's embarrassing Josh..'' I was lucky to hear the whole sentence. Her voice was low and I couldn't hear a thing. ''What's embarrassing?'' I asked her, ''All that.'' what? ''Baby, it wasn't your fault. This asshole raped you! You did nothing. You didn't deserve this. Don't be shy.'' she kept crying. I rocked us back and forth in the bed and she pulled away. She looked at me, still shy and kissed my cheek. Her body was trembling. ''Wanna go downstairs and watch a movie?'' I asked her, trying to make her feel better. ''You don't mind?'' she asked, ''No, don't worry babe. I'll do anything for you.'' I said, putting my hand on her shoulder. She gave me a small smile and hugged me. 

''What kind of movie is that?'' I asked, getting tired of the shitty movie. ''You said you'll do anything for me.'' she stated, ''You have to admit that, this movie is boring.'' I said, ''Yeah kinda. I don't know what to watch though.'' she said, ''What about Another Cinderella Story?'' her face lit up when I mentioned one of her favorite movie. She loved dancing. I never had the chance to see her dancing, but I knew she was the best. When she had free time, she usually spent it at a dance studio near here. It was new. She had stop before we met. But, I convinced her to dance again. And it worked. So, I got her in the studio and she got accept. They were doing a show at the end of the session, and that was soon. I would finally see her doing someting she loved. ''Josh?'' Aly said, looking up at me. ''Yeah, what?'' I replied, ''What were you thinking about?'' she asked, ''Oh nothing.'' I lied, ''Whatever.'' she smirked.

We were watching Selena Gomez moving her body around for two hours now. It was a good movie to be honest. She was a good dancer. ''I wish I could dance like her.'' Aly said, ''I'm sure you're better than her.'' I said, stroking her hair. She smiled and turned back into the movie. She really liked that movie. She knew almost every line. At 6 we went back to sleep. We were tired. 

She woke up this morning at 10. I was already awake so, I made her breakfast. Like fruits and pancakes. She didn't eat it all but at least she ate a little. I was trying so hard to make her ate more, but she didn't like it. She hated food. It was getting her 'fat'. Everytime she was in the bathroom, I went with her. Kinda weird yeah. But, at least, she wasn't purging. 

Anyways, we had to be ready soon because we had to drop my mom and my sisters at the airport. Today was the day. I wasn't sad or anything. ''Ready?'' I asked Aly, ''Yeah, one second!'' she replied. I could hear her running upstairs. ''I'm here.'' she breathed and we got in the car.

''I'm gonna miss you Josh.'' my sisters cried at the same time. It was harder than I thought. Aly was actually crying. She loved my sisters like a crazy. She wasn't ready to say goodbye. ''I'm gonna miss you too girls.'' I said, hugging her. I pulled off and they went immediatly in Aly's arms. She cried harder. ''Shhh baby, it's okay.'' I said, wiping her cheeks. She laughed and got on her knees to be at the same height as my sisters. ''I'm not even your sister and I'm crying. Oh god, I'm so emotional!'' she exclaimed. I laughed and went to see my mother. ''Are you sure you wanna stay here, Josh?'' she asked, ''Yes mom.'' I reassured her. ''Okay then.'' she smiled and hugged me. ''I love you both. Be careful and I'll call everyday. Or maybe not. I don't wanna be annoying. Bye guys! We love you!'' my mom said before heading to her plane.

We came back at the house and Ben was on the porch. ''Hey Ben, what are you doing here?'' Aly asked, getting out of the car. ''I got some bad news.'' he said, getting closer to us. ''What is it?'' she asked, again. ''Mom is in jail again.'' Ben hissed. Aly sighed and stared at the ground. ''Why?'' I asked, ''I didn't ask. To be honest, I don't even wanna know.'' he said. He was getting tired of all the bullshit his mom was in. ''I understand, man.'' I said, taking Aly's face in my hands at the same time. ''Are you okay?'' I asked her, ''Yeah. She won't bother me anymore.'' she laughed, shaking her head. 

Ben didn't stay with us. He went straight back to his home. He looked kinda hurt about it. He just realised that Aly was right. And also, he was close to his mother. Not as much as Alyson was with her father, but still. I became friend with him, so it was my job to hang out with him to change his mind a little. I didn't know if he wanted to, but I would still try. ''Hey Aly, do you think Ben can join us for dinner?'' I asked Aly, who was in the kitchen. ''Yeah sure. Why though?'' she asked back, ''He looked pretty upset about your mother back in jail.'' I answered, ''Yeah, I know.'' she said, ''Do you wanna call him for me? I'm busy right now.'' she laughed, ''Yeah, no problem.'' I smiled and took my phone in my back pocket and looked for him in my contact list. Once I found him, I touched the 'Call' option and it rang. ''Hello?'' Ben answered, ''Hey mate.'' I said, ''Hey what's up?'' he asked, ''Nothing much, I wanted to know if you would like to come eat dinner with us here?'' he laughed and cleared his throat,''Yeah sure. Everything's alright?'' he knew I invinted him for a reason, ''Yeah, it just that, I saw how upset you were when you passed by earlier.'' I explained, ''I am.'' he sighed, ''Wanna talk about it?'' I offered, ''Maybe later, thanks Josh. Anyways, I have to get ready. See ya!'' he said and hung up.

''He's coming.'' I said to Aly, ''Great.'' she smiled. I went behind her and hugged her. I put my head on her shoulder and kissed it. ''What are you doing big boy?'' she asked, laughing. I smirked and let her go. ''Want help with that?'' I asked, ''Yeah.'' she smiled and kissed my nose. Ahh I love that girl. ''I love you Alyson.'' she was suprise when I used her name. Usually I called her Aly, ''I love you too Josh.'' she replid, wraping her arms around my neck and kissing me on the lips. I could feel her smile while she kissed me. ''Are you happy with me?'' I suddenly asked, ''I've never been this happy.'' she whispered, looking deeply into my eyes. I smiled and hugged her. I didn't want to let go but when I heard Ben's car in the driveway, we had to. ''Hey guys.'' Ben said, ''Hey.'' Aly smiled, ''Mmhh! It smells good.'' Ben smiled.

''Thank you for the dinner guys.'' Ben said, ''No problem, anytime.'' I smiled. He hugged Aly and he was gone.

''That was nice. We should do it more often.'' Aly said. ''Yeah.'' I agreed. ''Now, where were we?'' she smirked at me. I walked towards her and kissed her passionately. She made me the happiest guy on earth.

Because of her, I learned to live again.
