Chapter 30

~darknesses POV~
Yawning tiredly I stretch my arms out and legs out hearing a groan from the other side sofa the bed as my knee hits something.

"Leave me alone!" Bones grunts out throwing the blanket over his body,

Yawning one last time I open up my eyes groggily and run at my tired eyes.

Looking at my phone I groan out as it says 7:45am.

"Get up" i say with my ugly morning voice, "school is coming at us early today. We've slept in" I say getting out of bed slowly and walking into my closet.

Saving my shower time for this afternoon I close the wardrobe door and strip out of my clothes.

Slipping on my black skinny jeans i match it with my grey cotton vest crop top and throw on my black leather jacket over the top. Leaning on the wall I slip on my black combat boots before opening the wardrobe door again to see my bed empty.

Grabbing my bag I slip my phone and keys into my pocket, and leave my room with 20 minutes to spare.

Woo, record time.

Jogging down the stairs I drop off my bag at the front door and make my way to the booming music coming from the speakers. Hearing laughs as I approach, I walk into the kitchen to find hades in between Ava legs as she's sitting on the counter and bones sitting there with a look of disgust as he eats his cornflakes.

Grinning at the new couple I walk in catching their attention and doing a small wave at Ava. Looking at me bones gives me warning eyes and them motions to hades and Ava, sticking his finger down his throat.

"Shut up bones" Ava rolls her eyes pushing away hades and skipping over to me with a bright smile,

Crushing me in a hug Ava lets go and I hold her out in arms length. Smiling proudly I look over her outfit and approve it with a nod.

Wearing a tight casual blue and white stripped dress that comes up just above the knees, Ava pairs it with a blue jean jacket tied around her waist and then topping them off with her white low top converses.

Just as the song changes, drakes new song comes on and I'm smiling at Ava,

"baby I love your style!" I sing out grinning at her,

Breaking away from me Ava does little poses in the kitchen with everyone watching us, before giggling.

"Uh uh uh, grips on your waist, from way, back way, you know that I don't know play. Streets not safe, but I never run away, even when I'm away." Ava sings grabbing my hands making me dance with her,

"Come on darkness! I need a one dance" Ava giggles wrapping her arms around me and moving her body.

Rolling my eyes hades walks over thankfully and extracts her from me.

"Come on princess, I need to take you to school" hades says grabbing her bag and kissing her cheek,

Frowning Ava looks at me,

"But me and Ava always go together" Ava pouts looking at him,

Sighing hades looks at me before looking at Ava,

"Baby, darkness is catching a ride with bones, you need to get something's from the store and darkness asked me to take you" hades says,

Fake gagging I look to bones and see a look of disgust on his face,

Ok it was cute last night, but now...it's just freaking weird.

Cute is the last thing I'll describe it as, I'm more along the lines of revolting. Disgusting.

Yeah...either works.

Sighing Ava nods her head and smiles at me waving,

"I guess I'll see you at school, bye" Ava says as hades pulls her by the hand out of the kitchen,

"Well bye guys!" Bones calls out rolling his eyes,m"rude" he gushes dramatically.

Pulling out a juice box and banana from the fridge I pull out my keys and walk out calling hades.

"Let's go!"

"Coming, hold on a sec" he yells back as I reach the front door and pick up my bag, "ok, let's go" he says jogging up to me with his bag.

Jumping in the car I start it up and drive off seeing hades car take a right turn, where as we are taking a left.

On the drive to school bones starts poking me in the shoulder randomly.

"Argh! What do you want!" I say annoyed,

Shrugging my arm away from him I look at him and see a smile play at his lips.

"Nothing" he hums looking out the window now.

Rolling my eyes I turn back to the road and focus on driving.

Minutes later I pull up into the school parking lot and park towards the back.

As I'm pulling out the keys I look to the left and see Aiden and his friends all surrounded by the front enter acne. Looking directly at me I look away quickly and continue grabbing my things.

"So, what's up with you and Aiden?" Bones says curious as he can sense something.

Sighing I pull my bag onto my lap and look at him,

"Honestly...I don't know" I say honestly.

Changing, bones puts on his serious face.

"Darkness...." He warns,

"Don't worry, nothing's going to happen. I swear, I already told him" I say slumping back in my seat,

"Look" he says going all soft, "it's not that I don't want youse to be together..you know what it'll be like if anything happens. And with a father like yours...you can't even look at him like that darkness, let alone think about him like that" bones says sternly,

Nodding my head I look at him in the eyes,

"Nothing's gonna happen. He's just a stupid boy, with stupid feelings. Nothing I haven't handled before" I sigh jumping out of the car.

Before I could make another step bones catches my arm and pulls me back to him,

Staring ahead I feel like a child as bones leans into my ear,

"I'm serious darkness. Nothing can happen" he warns sternly.

Growling lowly in frustration I yank my arm out of his hold and stare at him with a glare.

"You don't think I know that, it's not you who has to cop the beatings is it!" I hiss at him,

With fiery black eyes bones stares hard at me for a few seconds before i Storm off in the direction of the school with an angry vibe waving off of me.

With a natural glare on my face my eyes wonder to Aidens as I pass the entrance and look away from his concerned eyes without emotion and look away as if he was nothing.

Because in all truths...he was everything to me...
