Darkness

Chapter 24

~Hades POV~
Closing her door quickly I watch as the girls giggle before walking away from the room, Groaning I lean back against the chair and throw my hands to my face,

How could I be so stupid!

Now she most probably thinks I'm not interested in her...pfft, if only she knew!

I need to fix this up before she starts thinking the worst, I mean I like her a lot, but I didn't want to ask her out right then and there...it would ruin my plans.

Huffing I make up my mind and decide to just drop it and hope that she doesn't think anything bad, I need time, she needs to know how much I care about her and I'm not gonna stuff this up even if it's nit popping the question yet, she's not like the others.

Getting up I stare at her door contemplating whether or not I should knock or not.

Seeming as it's been forever I've been standing in front of Ava's door with my hand on the handle, I reluctantly let go and walk back to my room with a happiness that finally something happened between me and Ava,

But then there's this nagging feeling in my mind that's yelling 'ask her to be your girlfriend dick!',

With my mind battling with my heart, I shut my bedroom door and collapse on my perfectly made bed.

'Just a little bit longer...get to know the girl more hades...not that long. Make her fall for you'

~Ava's POV~
As I'm laying in my cold bed, I toss and turn watching as the time goes by on my alarm clock while shivering my ass off,

9:00pm

9:30pm

10:00pm

Freaking thoughts! Why can't you just forget about had for the night and sleep!

Groaning I roll over and snatch my phone off the ground from where it's charging, going to darknesses contact number, I open the message box and type,

'Darkness, are you still awake??' I message,

A few seconds later my phone dings,

'Yeah...why?? You dying or something'

Oh I wish!

'No smart ass, I'm freaking cold and my blankets still in your room' I text back,

Please say I can come, please say I can come...

'Idc, just don't wake the others up. I don't want bones in here again' she messages back seconds later,

Yayy!

Jumping out of my bed I grab my phone and charger and skip all the way to my door,

Closing my door shut behind me I check to see if any body's out before creeping to darknesses door, opening it slowly just in case she's asleep, I walk in to see Ava perched on her bed with her phone placed in her hands, munching on a bag of Carmel popcorn darkness looks up from what I'm guessing is candy crush and rolls her eyes at me.

"I have a feeling this is gonna be a permanent thing for some reason..." Darkness says looking up from her phone at me,

Now it's my turn to roll my eyes at her,

Sliding into my exact same spot from today, I snuggle up into the thick blankets and feel my ice cold body warm up just from the change of room,

"I honestly don't know how you do it darkness!" I say closing my eyes and placing the soft cushion between my thighs, "argh...sooo warmmmmm" I groan turning the side lamp off creating darkness all around us, besides the light of the TV and darknesses phone,

"Yeah, me neither. I guess it's because I have so many dark colours in here, scientifically black attracts heat so" darkness says going back to candy crush,

I swear that girl is addicted to it, she's reached level 231 today and she was just at 157 yesterday morning...that's gotta be a world record

"Remind me to buy black sheets and cushions next time we go out" I sigh blissfully into the cushion,

"Sure thang" Ava replies,

"Yawning tiredly I mumble a 'goodnight' before my body goes all weak and my breathing becomes slow and steady,

Let the dreams come now...more like let hades invade my dreams..

"Goodnight Ava" I hear darkness say before I go out completely,
