Rushing out of english class with Ava trailing behind me I push through the cafeteria doors and sit at a empty table. Flopping down in front of me Ava smiles at me pulling her lunch out.
"Care to explain what happened back there?" Ava says taking a bite out of her sandwich.
"What happened?" I ask her confused.
"You and mr hottie Aiden?" Ava says grinning,
Rolling my eyes I pull out my apple and take a bite out of it.
"He was eyeing me out the whole fearing lesson! It was so freaking annoying" I say irritated,
"Come on, don't try and deny it. He's hot" Ava says looking at me,
"As if" I lie
"Pfft, yeah if you say so" Ava says watching Aidens every move as he walks into the cafeteria with his friends.
"You are so love sick about this guy" I say watching Ava
Looking at me Ava grins,
"I know you think he's hot" Ava says determined
"Oh yeah, and how do you figure that?" I say leaning forward a bit.
"Because I heard you say it" Ava sings tapping her head.
Ohhh shit!
"I was just kidding" I lie
"No you weren't!" Ava protests shaking her head.
"Yeah I was sunshine." I say biting my apple,
"Whatever you say darkness, but I know the truth" Ava says smiling at her sandwich,
Rolling my eyes I drop my apple core on the table and pull out my iPhone.
"Ava what's your number again" I say going to contacts.
After telling me her number I make her contact name different this time, it's now 'sunshine'.
Watching me type it Ava looks at me with a raised brow,
"Why sunshine?" Ava says
Shrugging my shoulder I look at her,
"Because, your happy all the time. Just be lucky it's not the old one" I grin at her.
Just as Ava goes to open her mouth she gasps loudly and grabs around her throat. Panicking Ava wheezes in and out, bending over Ava try's breathing. Hearing giggles across the room I glance at the squad oh skanks laughing their ass off.
Glaring I turn back to Ava and stand up. Since the whole school is basically supernatural I use my powers. Raising my arm I twist my wrist to the side and Ava gasps breathing in and out loudly. Looking up at me Ava smiles weakly. The whole cafeteria goes silent.
Walking over to her I crunch in front of her and lay a hand on her shoulder.
"You ok?" I ask.
Nodding her head Ava breaths in deeply before answering.
"I'm use to it" Ava says sadly.
Seeing tears forming at the corners of her eyes she quickly wipes them away just as We hear laughter behind me.
Feeling anger boil up inside of me, I Stand up and make my way deathly towards the girls. Ava goes to grab my arm but I push her away. flicking my hand out I stop in front of the crowd.
As I call apron my powers everybody around the group of girls moves from the force of my powers. Gasping everyone just stands there and watches.
"I warned youse, not once but twice" I hiss at them.
