Isla's POV

"Are you sure your heart is ready for this Isla?" I was back at home with Jenna.

"I think this is the best plan for right now," I tell Jenna.

"And I'll be there!" Alyssa was here too. She had decided that after work she would come home with me and meet Jenna. She claimed that three of us were meant to be. It is going to take a while for Jenna to warm up to Alyssa's bright, constantly happy and bubbly personality.

Jenna rolls her eyes. "I know, you have told us that a lot lately."

"There is one thing I forgot to mention." Nervousness clouded her features. "Zach, the guy you are going to go out with, well, you see, we used to date."

"In college we had dated, but we broke up because he wasn't liking the relationship," She shrugs, but I could see in her eyes it was more than that. "But, we stayed friends and still talk to each other regularly. When I brought up that I had a cute new co worker, he said he met a cute guy at a restaurant and here we are!"

By the end she regained her happy go lucky expression.

"So I'm not hurting you by going out with him right?" I ask her because I didn't want to disregard her feelings.

"Of course not! I am the one who set up the date," Alyssa flips her hair over her shoulder.

"Why can't I go too?" Jenna asked while glaring slightly at Alyssa.

Alyssa seemed a little surprised by the question. "Uh, yeah I guess we could do a triple date. Do you have someone you would want to go with? I don't think I could find another guy to go with you," She slowly droned off while talking herself through the possibilities.

"Trevor!" I shriek when the idea came into my mind. "Ask him!"

Jenna's face looked incredulous. "No! We are just friends. Purely platonic. It has always been like that from the beginning!"

Me and Alyssa almost laugh at how Jenna is blushing and rambling. We told Alyssa all about Trevor and Daniel.

"That would be great! And all of us can be together. A triple date it is!" Me and Alyssa high-five and then turn to Jenna in unison.

Her glare was laser sharp like Superman's laser vision.

Alyssa looked genuinely frightened.

Feeling I should elaborate to appeal better to Jenna I speak. "Think about it for a second, Jen. I want you to be there for support and it will be fun. You and Trevor can go as just friends. I'll even ask him for you,"

Jenna's face showed her resolve slowly fading. "I can ask," Jenna was entirely independent, and I realized that my offer wouldn't be used. "But you swear you won't make it anything but friends?"

"Isla and me will be on an actual date, but I guess you can go with this Trevor guy as friends," Alyssa steps in.

"Please, please, please!" I beg Jenna with pouted lips and big eyes.

"Fine!" Jenna groans. I jump up and dance around, Alyssa joins me and we do a little happy dance together. Jenna rolls her eyes and grumbles. "Just stop being so happy."

"It will kinda be like a Girls night!" Alyssa smiles widely. "With my two new besties."
