(Epilogue I)

Isla's POV

Wedding bells were ringing.

Jenna and Trevor were finally tying the knot today and I was on edge. I was the maid of honor and had planned most everything. All I could do was hope that nothing went wrong.

Alyssa stood next to me with her barely noticeable baby bump. Zach was in the front row and smiling brightly at Alyssa. They have been married for almost a year now.        

Daniel was the best man, obviously. While Trevor looked like he might drown in his own sweat, Daniel was cool, calm and collected.

I stare at his eyes which make me fall in love with him every time I stare in his depths. His hair was in a constant state of disarray and all I could think about was running my hands though his gorgeous locks.    

He caught me staring and grinned. I blushed and looked away to find Jenna walking up to the pulpit.

All I can say is that weddings take a long time and when it was finally time to say, "I do," I couldn't have been more excited.

"Trevor Cunningham, do you take Jenna Davis to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

In that moment all of Trevor's nervousness washed away like an ocean's waves. "I do."

His smile was heart stopping. Trevor really did love Jenna.

"Jenna Davis, do you take Trevor Cunningham to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

Jenna eyes darted to anywhere but Trevor. I could see his smile fade as Jenna said the words, "No. I can't."

Trevor looked as if he might burst into tears. My heart wrenched. This was the one problem I didn't think I would have to deal with.

"Just kidding! Of course I want to marry you, goofball."

Before he could even register it, Jenna had dipped Trevor and kissed him with everything she had.

The priest simply laughed. "You may now kiss the bride."

They both emerged with red cheeks and the biggest smiles I had seen in a long time.

"How long until your due?" I ask Alyssa as we sit during the reception.

"Just about three more months."

"Have you picked a name?"

"If the baby is a girl, we will name her Sara. If it is a boy, we'll name him Xavier."

I smile widely. "Those are the cutest names! I am so happy for you, Alyssa."

She gives me a tight hug. "Thanks for being my best friend. And introducing me to Jenna of course." We both laugh lightly, my heart full.

Zach comes up to her. "May I ask you to do dance?"

Alyssa blushes and I don't know if she will ever stop when it comes to Zach. "Of course."

I smile and wave as Zach winks at me and takes Alyssa to the dance floor. I sip my champagne which Jenna had grown fond of after Alyssa's party.

Jenna and Trevor were laughing and feeding each other cake. They had opted for cupcakes instead of a traditional wedding cake.

It had been about a year since Zach married Alyssa and Trevor and Jenna were engaged a few months after.

Daniel and I were still dating, but content. We had decided to date until it felt right. Allison and Jax were long forgotten by now, but haunted my nightmares every now and again. Losing Daniel is one of my greatest fears.
