Isla's POV

"That all happened in one night?" Alyssa asks.

I nod. I had just told her all about what had happened and how Jax was behind everything.

"I was there listening in the whole time. It was unreal." Jenna chimes.

I laugh. Now that it was all blown over, I can think of it without cringing. "Jax was really messed up. The doctors diagnosed him with a bunch of diseases."

"I can't believe he played all of us."

"Me neither."

Jenna, Alyssa and I were having a lunch date. I feel like I needed a day to just talk to everyone. What me and Daniel went through was huge, but now that it is over, I feel like there was a boulder lifted off my shoulders.

"How is Zach?" Jenna raises her eyebrows at Alyssa. She no longer blushes.

Oh wait, there it is.

"He is great," She mumbles.

"How is everything with your parents?" I ask. Last thing I knew; her parents were demanding she work at their company.

"I think me and Zach figured it all out. I will work at my parent's company part time, and Zach will continue his soccer coaching."

"Looks like it will all pan out. I wish the best for you, Alyssa." I smile deeply at her.

"Promise that you'll still hang out with us?" Jenna smiles shyly.

Alyssa abandons her seat at the table and hugs Jenna. Jenna looked a bit tense but soon relaxed and hugged her second best friend.

I will always be first.

"How is Trevor?" Alyssa smirks at Jenna.

But now that Trevor and her were together, Jenna was very upfront about everything.

"He is great. Did I tell you about how he does this thing in bed-"

"Jenna!"

So, Trevor and Zach lost a bet.

I challenged Zach and Trevor to a pushup bet. I was bored at home and Jenna and Alyssa went out to a club or something. Daniel was not interested when I challenged him, which was wise. I don't lose bets.

Usually.

I called Trevor and Zach who were over in a heartbeat. I did set the winnings high. Whoever lost had to do whatever the winner told them.

The winner was whoever could do the most pushups and whoever was still going at the end won.

"Are you ready for this, boys?"

"Are you ready, Isla? I hope you realize that I do coach soccer and conditioning is a requirement."

I roll my eyes. Other than playing the piano and nursing, I loved to work out. Trevor would be easy to beat; I don't even know why he came. Zach would be trickier. But, I had a plan.

"Daniel, tell us when to start." Trevor shouts.

We all got down on the floor into push up position.

Daniel just smirks down at us. "Go!"

All of us begin to do pushups at the same pace as Daniel counted. At thirty my arms were hurting way bad, but I knew I could do more. Trevor tapped out and I grinned.
