THE CALL

That night we agreed to FaceTime. She kept saying it would help relief my nervousness so I agreed. It's not like we hadn't FaceTimed before except someone was always with me, usually Alex, Kelley, Morgan or Lauren. We had never actually FaceTimed one on one. Still I was nervous to FaceTime her! Aside from having my nervousness do worry about my parents wouldn't go to sleep. I wanted to be alone and sure that my parents were asleep so we'd get to talk. Night time came fast but like every other weekend my parents went to sleep later than usual. I waited and waited. I don't remember how long it took for them to to leave which included me begging them constantly to go to bed. Honestly I felt like the mom telling her kids to go to sleep. Once they left I texted Christen as fast as possible and told her, after texting her I had two minutes to get the background set so it would look nice and presentable. When she answered my heart drop and not in a bad way more because of relief. She said she cousin FaceTime but that we could FaceTime audio and we did. Truth is that night from 10 pm to 3 am went by so fast. We talked about life. I talked to her about love, I sang to her (even though I suck), and I listened to her. I'm sure we would've kept talking on the phone if it wasn't for her dad who came in and yelled at her for making to much noise and being up too late. I understood, I mean I'm Tobin Heath and I'm hilarious. Of course she had been laughing her ass off! That's why she was making to much noise. As I was dying on one side of the phone she was whispering "Tobin? I have to go, I have to go." Over and over again. She must've kept thinking I didn't hear her but I did, I was just to busy laughing to respond. When I calmed down and got a hold of a breath I said "okay." And she hanged up. A few minutes later no more than 5 she texted me on kik. I was on snapchat just to find out she had posted a video of me signing Taylor Swifts 'I Knew You Were Trouble'. It wasn't super bad but it was ehh. I didn't have much energy after all the laughs so I said goodnight to her and told her that it was a good call.
