CHAPTER 26.
AIKO'S POV
Nagising ako ng bandang alas dos ng madaling araw at bumangon mula sa kama. Napatingin ako kay Mike na mahimbing natutulog sa tabi ko.
Naglakad ako palabas mula sa kwarto at tumingin sa kwarto ni Laurence. Nakita kong payapang natutulog 'yung dalawang bata doon.
Naglakad ako papunta sa kwarto nila Rage at tinignan kung parehas na ba silang tulog. Nakita kong gising si Ella at kinarga siya.
Naglakad na ulit ako pababa ng hagdan habang karga si Ella at pumunta sa kitchen. Nagtimpla ako ng tsaa at umupo sa upuan.
Nakatingin lang sa'kin si Ella at pinaglalaruan ang buhok ko. Pinisil ko ng mahina ang pisnge niya at uminom ng tsaa.
"Bakit hindi ka pa natutulog, baby?" Tanong ko. Lagi na lang ganito ang nangyayari. Kapag tulog si Rage gising si Ella. Kapag tulog Ella gising naman si Rage. Salitan silang dalawa.
Maya-maya lang ay may narinig akong yabag ng paa at nakita ko si kuya Nero. Binuksan niya 'yung ref at kumuha ng tubig. Lumapit siya sa'min ni Ella.
Hinalikan niya sa ulo si Ella at ako rin. "As always. She's awake at this time." Komento ni kuya. "Salitan silang dalawa ni Rage, kuya." Sagot ko.
"Now that Lirreanne is pregnant and Avi is already 5 years old, I know that we can handle our new baby like before." Pagkwento niya.
"Hindi ko na naman alam na buntis si ate." Saad ko. Natawa naman siya ng mahina. "Of course. I didn't say anything. Mom and father didn't know it too." Saad niya.
"It's a surprise to be honest." Dugtong niya. "Kuya naman eh. Lagi na lang ganiyan." Komento ko. Narinig kong umiyak si Ella kaya naman agad ko siya pinakalma.
"Ssshh... Baby, baka magising 'yung iba." Sita ko. Tumayo si kuya at naglakad paalis.

Maya-maya lang ay bumalik na si kuya at may dalang bote ng gatas. Binigay niya sa'kin 'yun at kinuha ko naman. Pinainom ko na kay Ella ang gatas.
PAIN'S POV
~ 7 PM. ~
I woke up in the morning and I saw her there sleeping peacefully. I think she didn't got enough sleep because she looks tired.
I got up from the bed then fixed her blanket. I went outside the room then I saw Nero with Avi ready to go. They both looked at me.
"We're going now. Take care of my little sister." I nodded. "Don't take my girlfriend away from me." Avi said. I just stared at him, not amused.
"Be careful. Take care. See you next time." And then, they went on their way. I went inside the room of our children and I saw both of them awake.
"You two are such an early bird, huh?" I commented on them. They just laughed at me. "Good morning to you, my lovely children." I greeted.
I kissed them on their foreheads then grabbed the two of them. I went down the stairs then went to the kitchen. I let them sit on their chairs and started cooking.

I prepared our breakfast when Laurence came here in the kitchen. "Good morning." He said with a low voice. I helped him sit on his chair.
"Good morning." I greeted him back. He looked at his surroundings like he's searching for something or someone then he looked at me, innocently.
"Where's mommy? Where's Avi?" He asked. I swallowed because of the question that I don't want to answer. "Avi came with his father to go to his mother and her family." I answered him.
"I wish he's going to have fun." He said. I didn't answer his first question because I don't know how to tell him about that.
"What about my mom?" I stopped in my tracks because of his question. I looked at him and I sighed. I walked towards him and sit down beside him.
I looked directly in his eyes. "Laurence, I know that this is gonna hurt but she left you here." I answered. I saw the pain in his eyes.
He tried to stop himself from crying but he failed. I caressed his head then smiled. "Boys can cry, you know? It's okay to cry." I said.
"I'm alone now." He said while crying. "What are we here for you? Air? I and your auntie are here for you. Avi, too." I said.
"You're not going to leave me?" I shake my head. "No. Because we care about you." I answered. He smiled then he stopped crying.
"I'm going to be a big brother to them!" He said while pointing at our kids. I laughed softly. "Yes. You're going to be a kind and good big brother to them." I said.
"Eat now." He nodded then started eating his food. "Where's she?" He asked. "She's still sleeping." I answered then start eating too.
THIRD PERSON'S POV
Bumalik na sa Canada si Frenan at nandito siya sa airport. Hinang-hina siyang kumilos at umupo sa upuan. Dalawa lang ang kasama niya sa mga tauhan niya ngayon.
Hawak niya ang phone niya at may tinext. Wala siyang ibang gagawin dito upang makipag-usap lang kay Aiko at makita ang anak niya kahit sa huling sandali man lang.
Tumayo na ulit siya at pumunta sa lugar na sinabi niya kung saan sila magkikita ng kapatid.

Nandito sila Phinraite sa loob ng kwarto ni Phiraite at may binabasang kung ano nang biglang nagsalita si Phinrelle.
"May org din pala ang kapatid ni Aiko. Kaya naman pala may laban din sa'tin eh." Komento nito. "Pero dalawang araw na ang nakakalipas simula no'ng hindi na nagbenta ang org niya." Komento naman ni Phiraite.
"Do you think, something happened to him? Or he's planning or something again?" Tanong ni Phinraite. "'Yan ang dapat nating alamin." Sagot ni Phiraite.
May kumatok sa pintuan ng kwarto kaya naman napalingon silang lahat doon. Nakita nila ang dalawa nilang pinsan na babae.
"W-we need help." Natatakot na saad ng isa. Pinapasok naman sila ni Phinraite at pina-upo sa upuan. "What can we do for you?" Tanong ni Phinraite.
"T-they are t-threatening u-us a-again." Nanginginig silang dalawa dahil sa sobrang takot. Sumama naman ang tingin ni Phinraite dahil sa narinig niya.
"Don't worry. I'll handle them, young ladies." Saad ni Phinraite at naglakad na siya paalis para puntahan ang mga nananakot sa mga pinsan niya.
