Your Pov

4 months done, and you're seeing improvement. He's feeling better now. But you have been through the worst. Sleepless, stressed, and weak. You had nightmares every night. It worries you that if he sleeps, he's never going to wake up. But you have to be positive. It hurts you, just looking at him, seeing what he's going through. But you are happy for him. That he's slowly getting closer to his dream. You continued giving him strength, motivating him, and making him happy. And it paid off. He is out of the deadpale color and he's starting to gain weight. He can now write, which made you happy because every morning he wrote you a letter with a drawing below it. He wrote about how you looked great even though you look tired, he would right about your features and how it made him giggle because you look beautiful, he would write about how you tried to made him laugh with your corny jokes, how it made him sad that you worry about him it made you cry, how he likes to play with your hair when you sleep beside his bed, how he loved the way you intertwined your fingers with his, your unique personality that brightened up his day, how the day went, and how he falls in love with you every single day. You love it that he noticed those little things and how it makes him smile. And you replied with letters and drawings too, and gave it to him after he wakes up from his daily nap. It went on everyday. It became a routine. It touched you, that even though he's going through pain, he still made an effort to make you smile.

Thomas' pov

Been 4 months now and she's still holding on, even though it's hard, she still chose to be with me. So, I decided writing letters for her even poems, and I included drawings at the bottom. It's just a little effort, to give back. It feels like she's always the one making me feel good so I did this to make he feel better. I did it everyday, and she replied with drawings and letters too. Since I feel better now, I had hope so everyday we made promises to each other like, promise me you're going to love me for the rest of my life, or promise me you'll never leave my side, or promise me you'll tell me your problems so we could talk about it together. And we did all those. Not a single promise broken. It makes me happy that even though I'm not the typical guy girls like, she loves me.
