Thomas' pov

12 months have already gone, and I felt better than ever. I could walk now and I decided to surprise y/n, with the money I saved before. I wanted set up a date on the rooftop of the hospital. It has a great view at night so I decided to have a really nice dinner with her. She wasn't gonna be here until 7 so I have time to prepare. She's fixing my papers and she's leaving her apartment since she stayed at my room already. I told Beth my plans but she said I can't get out of the hospital, so she offered to buy the things I need. I grabbed my phone, y/n gave me a couple months ago cause she would leave me due to her promotion. I texted her, Hey love. You won't find me in my room tonight but put on a nice dress and go to Beth. Room 55. Love you.

Beth's pov

Alright. I think I have everything I need. √ candles √ food √ wine √ ice √ more candles. Wow, how lucky y/n is with this guy. It's already 5 so we have time to prepare everything. This is their first date so this has to be special.

Thomas' pov

Okay. So Beth came back with everything i need. I asked for pillows and some blankets in the hospital. Beth told me she wants to help so I let her. We surrounded the rooftop with the candles, and made sure that the wind does not blow it out. In the middle, we spread a plastic tarp then the blanket, then put the pillows on top. Looks very cozy. I got ready and waited for y/n to come.

Your pov

Hey love. You won't find me in my room tonight but put on a nice dress and go to Beth. Room 55. Love you. It's from Thomas. You gave him a phone so that he could contact you if you're not around. You were just on your way to store to buy a polaroid because you wanted to suprisr Thomas. He wanted it so bad but he didn't want you to buy it for him. You told him you're going to be there by 7 and it's only 5 so you went to get coffee and call your mom.

Its 6:30 so you have to get back to the hospital. You decided to walk since it was close. When you reached the hospital you went to where Thomas told you to go. Room 55. "AHHHH" someone shouted in your face while you opened the door causing you to fall on your back. It was Beth, your bestfriend and coworker. She told you that Thomas was playing games with you that you have to find him somewhere in the building, but she's not going to help you. Great, hide and seek huh? You're not good at looking for something, you're good at losing them. "Start where you two first met" oh okay our room. This was actually easy. You got there and there was a torn paper on the bed with a drawing and a note.

So you went to the playground and saw another paper on the slide.
