Elizabeth opened the door.
"Hi! How are you?"
"Great, is Hayes home?"
"Yes, on the couch with Sky. Please come in," she gave me a nice hug. I walked to their
living room. Sky looked at me and ran up to me."Wanna play ponies?"
"Of course." I guess Hayes recognized my voice because he got up off the couch.
"Um hi, whatcha doin'?"
"My mom just kinda dropped me off here, I'll tell you when I'm done playing ponies," I gave
him a wink. He sat next to me and played ponies with Sky and I.
When we were done I laid on my stomach on their couch. Hayes laid on top of me. "I told her about me and Dyllon. She said I needed anger management and that I shouldn't be around Annee. Then she told me to get out of the car, so I got out and now I'm here.""That's weird, maybe we should walk to your house."
"That would be a bad idea."
"For Annee," Hayes got off me and I got up. We walked to my house and I just walked in. My mom came running up to the door. She had a strange look.
"What are you doing?" she asked rudely.
"I have to be here for Annee, I promised I'd stay." I started to walk upstairs.
"I told you, you can't be here. I don't want you around Annee, it's not safe." She walked up to
me and got in front of me."You literally just got me back, and now you want me gone? I won't say anything because I
don't want to get hit like last time. Now if you'd let me go to my sister's room with my guest that would be kind," I pushed passed her and started to walk up the steps. My mom pulled me down. She threw me to the ground. Hayes picked me up and we walked outside. He called Elizabeth, and she came over. she called the police. "You can't, she's my Mom you can't. I won't tell the truth if you do.""Honey it's for your safety."
"Everything is for safety. The reason I'm here, the reason I can't see my sister, the reason I got hit, and the reason my Mom will go to jail. Elizabeth, she is the only one that I have, please don't do this." I started to cry.
"I know this is hard, but we can't let this happen again or it will get worse," she laid a hand on my shoulder. I pushed it off, I walked inside. I found my sister before my Mom noticed me.
"Annee, come with me," I grabbed her. I picked her up, then I went across the hall into my room. We climbed down to the ground where the police, Elizabeth, and Hayes were. My Mom walked outside to see them. She got handcuffed.
"No, you can't do this! They're my children! They love me! Please, Annee, Dallas! I didn't do anything!" She started to cry so did Annee.
"What are they doing to Mommy? Why are they doing this?" She put hid her head in my shoulder.
"Mommy wasn't very nice. She is going to be in timeout for a while," I explained to her. She was bawling in my arms and I almost broke like glass. This is all my fault.
