So today is my first day at my school in North Carolina and I'm super nervous. Going into 9th grade is kinda scary when you don't know anybody. My mom, my little sister named Annee, and I had to move with my mom because of my dad. So anyway my mom dropped me off at my new school and everyone was dressed so nice. I wasn't, I was wearing jeans, a crop top, white high top converse, and some mascara; I get it's the first day of school but there is no reason to get really dressed up.
Thinking about my outfit made me run into this kid."Oh sorry, I didn't see you." My voice was low and when I looked up I nearly fainted.
"That's alright.Um are you new hear?" His eyes were crystal blue and his hair was a dark brown and his raspy voice made me want to melt.
"Yea.. aren't you Hayes Grier?"
"Yea, and you must be.."
"Dallas, Dallas Golda. I moved from Jersey a week ago."
"Nice, wheres your locker Dallas?" I almost died. He was wearing khakis and a button up light blue shirt, which matched his eyes, with black high top converse. I couldn't believe Hayes Grier was talking to me and not at a meet and greet. I pushed my blonde hair behind my ear and put it around my shoulder.
"I have no idea," I took out my schedule paper and handed it to Hayes.
He gave me a grin, took my hand and dragged me behind him. I couldn't help but to smile and giggle the slightest bit. I could feel everyone's eyes on Hayes and I, and I felt a little insecure.
We got to my locker."This is your locker," Hayes tapped on the red locker. He turned around and walked across from my locker. "This is my locker." He had a smile from ear to ear.
"Just my luck, I guess that means we have the same homeroom." Hayes walked back over to me and I started to feel a crush forming.
"Yea, just your luck huh?" He smiled took my hand and we walked into our homeroom. He introduced me to everyone and then we sat down. A girl came up to the seat infront of me and turned around.
"Hey, I'm Megan. I see you and Hayes are really hitting it off."
"Um hi, haha no were just friends. I just met him today." She put her brown hair into a side braid.
"Well, I'm warning you that his ex Dyllon may think otherwise. Anyway, heres my number we should hangout after school." I put Megan's number into my phone and then the bell rang. Hayes walked me to first period. Turns out we have the same schedule and I like that.
The rest of the day was really fun. Hayes and I already had a few inside jokes and I could tell we were going to get really close.
