It was quiet for a long time. Max stood up and walked over to Hayes.

"I'll see you around," he shook Hayes' hand then left. I looked over at Nash, he was passed
out. I looked at Hayes and he was already looking at me. I looked down at my hands, they were shaking. I stood up and sat on the edge of Hayes' bed.

"So what exactly happened at the trestle yesterday?" I looked at him, I felt tears in my eyes. I grabbed his hand.

"I sat up on the trestle where Max was. He asked what happened then I told him how we broke up and he told me that... that you and Megan were together behind my back." I looked at Hayes, his face was bright red.
"I don't want you talking right now, just let me talk. After that I went to fall backwards into the water, but he grabbed me. Then he kissed me, but I kissed him back. He pulled back and I kissed him. I was so desperate for someones love I did it, I'm sorry. That's why we kept looking at eachother, look I had to tell you before someone else did. Hayes I understand why you aren't going to want me back or why you won't talk to me after this. Just know I do love you." I was shaking and crying. Hayes pulled me next to him. He wiped my tears and kissed my forehead.

"I love you, and I honestly understand why you did that. Just know that Megan and I weren't doing anything, I swear." I kissed his cheek. We took a picture of us, he posted it on twitter and the caption was 'I honestly can't live without this girl'

It was around 9 so Nash took me home. In the car he was jammin out to Jack and Jack. I turned up the volume and started rapping along with Wildlife.

I stopped singing, and turned my head towards Nash. "Do you always listen to them?"

"Yea, I also listen to Shawn and Jacob. I mean I don't do it because we are friends, but because I actually like their music. Do you listen to them?"

"Yea, and Mahogany. She seems cool, is she?"

"Yea, she is. Mahogany knows how to have fun, maybe we should all get together and throw a banger party. Imma text all of them, it has been a while since we ALL hung out." He pulled out his phone. I grabbed it.

"Focus on the road." Nash settled back into his seat. "I lost my older brother from a car crash. Danny Viscel, his friend, and my brother, Zach, were going to get their fantasy football money. Danny went to switch lanes, the guy in the other lane wanted to speed up so he wasn't behind them. Danny and Zach's car spun off the road, they hit a tree then fell in a ditch. Danny escaped out of the car, but my brother was knocked out. Danny borrowed a near by person's phone and called his dad and the police. They got my brother out of the car. Danny had a sprained ankle and still has bad memories. My brother's hip was shattered and he had a broken shoulder. He had tore his urethra and had a collapsed lung. Eight days after the accident he was still unconscious, the surgery worked, my brother just never woke up. He was 18, he was going to Rutgers, he had a girlfriend, he was smart. Now it's just me and Annee." I looked out of the window. I felt the tears ready to fall down my face. Instead my tears just stayed covering my eyes, making them look glassy. Nash pulled over. He hugged me.

"I'm really sorry. I won't ever go on my phone while driving again."

"It's fine, things happen for a reason. I don't wanna talk about this anymore, can you just take us home?" I looked up at him. His eyes were so bright, he was tearing.

"Yea." The car ride home was silent and sad. We didn't talk at all.

"Sorry I didn't tell you guys, it's just really hard to talk about. He was my hero, Annee couldn't even see him. You can tell your mom and Hayes, I'm fine with it." Nash just hugged me. We got out of the car and walked inside. I was stunned at who I saw in there.
