When Nash and I walked inside my Mom was sitting on the front room couch with Liz and Annee. I stopped walking so did Nash.
"I thought you'd come later, how've you been?" My Mom started walking up to me. I hid behind Nash so she couldn't see my red face. "Dal, I haven't seen you in forever. Let me get one hug." She came closer. I turned and ran upstairs. Nash followed me. I went in his room, he stood in the doorway. He gave me a look that made me feel guilty.
"No Nash, I can't stand to see her. She- she just turns my stomach now, she hurt me." Nash sat on his bed next to me.
"Dal it's your mom, and you're with my mom. My mom won't let her do anything."
"Ugh fine." I got off his bed and went downstairs.
I sat on the reclining chair away from Annee, Liz, and my Mom. "It's hard to see you, just understand my point of view." She smiled. "What?""I'm just happy I got one word from you. So how have you been?" I settled in the chair.
"Alright. How have you been?"
"I've been better. Not seeing you is hard for me, in 2 months you guys can live with me
again, if you really want too.""Probably not, I can't trust you, especially without people around. It will take some time,
sorry Liz," I giggled, "I've been with you for a while, you must want me out.""No, you're just the girl I will let in here." Liz gave me a friendly smile. I looked at my phone,
no texts."Dal you good? Your face got pale." My Mom got up and started to walk over to me.
"Back up. I'm fine I don't need your help." I scorned at her, I felt like a bitch. She just kinda stood there, she walked back slowly. "Sorry, like I said, it will take time."
"Just because you aren't living with me doesn't mean I ain't your mother. You should still respect me and you should still love me." She was raising her voice. Annee walked over to me and sat on my lap. "I'm your mother, and I always will be. I will always be apart of your lives. I will love you forever." I looked down. Annee looked at my Mom.
"Even Daddy? Even Zachy?" Annee was lucky she was little, asking that she would've gotten smacked on the butt. My Mom sighed.
"Even Daddy. Zach is no question, he's my son and I'll love him just like you two. No matter what." She sniffled. She put her head back and when she placed it back up I could tell she was going to break.
"Are you going to jail? Probation? Therapy? I mean what's the deal with the situation?" I was scared to ask that question, but I had to.
"Probation, therapy, and anger management. I can't see you guys for 2 months because I'm a safety hazard. I'm lucky that Liz agreed to this because this is the last time I'll see you two." She shed a tear so did Annee. Annee got up and gave our Mom a hug. I didn't move for that bitch. "Dal?"
"I'm not touching you. You are trash and you just suddenly started treating me like trash. What did I do to make you so angry and hurtful? We were so close and now I can't even talk to you. Ever since that day you saw Hayes and I making out it went downhill." I hurt her, but she put this upon herself. "Mom we were so close, it was like you were a teenager, but you aren't. Whether you want to grow up or not you have to, you can't fight me like us teens do."
