"What are you doing here?" He came running up to me. "Did she hit you?"
"Yea, that's why I came here.." He hugged me and tried dragged me to Elizabeth. "She can't know I'm here, she'll make me go home-"
"She'll let you stay I promise."
"Fine." He took me to there room. They got me ice for my eye.
"You can stay here as long as you need," Elizabeth said comforting
me.
I walked to Hayes' room and got changed into one of his shirts and went to bed. I felt him cuddling me and I knew he would never let me go.
The next morning I put on my leggings with one of Hayes' sweatshirts. I texted my mom telling her I wasn't living at our house for a while, she never answered me. I asked Elizabeth for makeup for my eye. It looked as if nothing happened. Hayes was next to me the whole day. When Elizabeth picked us up for school she had pizza waiting at home.
"Thanks for being nice to me Elizabeth."
"Anytime Dal."
Hayes grabbed my hand. "Put up your hood." He sounded worried. "Mom drive now." He was worried. Then I noticed my mom driving up to our car. Elizabeth drove fast and she dropped Hayes and I off from the back of their street. We went through the gate and through back door and ate the pizza. Elizabeth walked in.
"Hide now Dallas." I hid in the pantry. The doorbell rang.
"Hi Elizabeth, is Hayes home? I would like to talk to him." Hayes walked up to the door. "Have you seen Dallas?""No, the last time I saw her was at school." Hayes sounded convincing.
"Why?""She wasn't at the pick up area today after school, after last night she's been mad at me."
"Why?"
My mom choked a little. "I grounded her, but if you see her tell her to come home you little love birds." My mom left and I was very relieved. I went back to eating.
That night Hayes and I watched movies. We watched Expelled, which Cam was in, The Fault In Our Stars, Stand By Me, and The Breakfast Club. We cuddled and made late night cookies, they were so good. Then we were taking stupid pictures and videos of us doing stupid things. I hope we weren't too loud because we were laughing a lot. We fell asleep around 12 and the way we fell asleep was funny. I was laying flat on my back while Hayes laid on me. I had my arms wrapped around him and he was wrapped around me. I couldn't help but to never want to leave because when I was at his house with him I felt at home.
