The loud snores emitting from the back seat was a little annoying. I was sure I would have a pounding headache from resonance of those snores ver soon. It was not helping. This whole situation was not helping. The snores were emitting from the very gorgeous if somewhat gaping mouth of Brett's half brother. Josh Williams was the opposite of Brett in everyway, the yin to his yang at least in appearance sake. Personality wise I'd bet they were like identical twins. Josh was two years younger to Brett and so was only a year older then me. He had fine blond hair to pair off his green eyes while my Brett's hair was as dark as sin,a lot alike his personality. The creep!

I fumed quietly in my seat tinking over the abrupt introductions earlier when Brett had rudely yell'd out Josh meet Sheri and then without even returning the coutesy of introducing Josh to me he said, "Lets haul ass."And yes those were hsi evry words. The pounding techno trance music he switched on right after did not help in the least. After only a few minutes,Josh had made him pull over and forced me to take the front seat saying he had jet lag and needed to sleep.

Jet lag from where? Where had he come from? Was he really interested in buying my house? I had endless questions and no answers. The damn music was too loud for conversation but only shortly after Brett put the latest mercedece s-class back into drive, loud snores errupted from the back passanger, clashing even over the loud music. After a while of struggling to turn up the volume, Brett finally just switched the damn thing off.

I had heaved a sigh of relief but the snores were still going to kill me. I would be lucky if the pounding in my head that I will no longer deny does not become a full blown migrane. But we were almost there, another fifteen minutes and I could break free of these two. I had even started the count down. I timed it in line with snores.

Finally, we were there. Brett turned into his own drive and I did not object for it made sense to just walk over to my place from his. His house was pitch dark.Night had already falled and as his mum was a way on holidays with my mum in Phuket. We both had bare and empty houses before us.

I scrambled out of my seat belt and swept out the door almost as soon as he thre the car into park. Brett leaned back to shake Josh awake and I stretched nad breathed deeply glad for the quiet and cool darkness that surrounded me. It was going to be sad to let this go. But I needed the cash and even mum had no desire to stay here anymore. The house was too big. It was deeded to me on my uncle's death. Mum and I had been staying with my uncle eversince my dad died in a car accident when I was only six. Mum never remarried. She had never even dated again. She had been happy with just me and Uncle for company. Brett's mum was her best friend and the best friends never understood just why their kids never really got along.
