"Here we are" Jayden tells us while pulling up to a white mansion.
"Are you sure we're in the right place" I ask.
"Hell yeah we are" Tanna replies while getting out of Jayden's car.
"But how come there's no loud music?" The only indication that this place isn't deserted is the tall, muscular guy who is dressed in black and looks like a bouncer (guard) standing at the front door.
"We couldn't risk being caught by humans" Jayden simply replies while walking straight up to the bouncer.
"Name" The bouncer demands.
"I am Will and this is Tanna and Maggie" Jayden lies.
"Last names?" The bouncer asks. Jayden looks to me and I know what he is asking me to do. I close my eyes and focus on my task, entering the bouncer's mind. It is a little bit harder as I don't know anything about him, his name would be handy right about now. I would also imagine that they chose a mentally strong vamp to do the job so that he couldn't be fooled. Come on Zyana, enter his mind.
Suddenly I feel the power flow out of me and I get two sets of thoughts. I block out the bouncers thoughts and focus on one thing, we already said our lasts names. I let go of his thoughts and open my eyes.
"You may enter" The bouncer speaks while opening the door for us. We step into the mansion and the bouncer closes the door behind us.
"What the?" I speak as soon as I enter a massive room. There is music blasting and vamps everywhere. In the middle of the massive room is the tallest tree I have ever seen, many pre-vamps sit on it, some are even at the very tip of the tree which must be at least 50 feet above the ground. Around the tree is a dance floor and a DJ, lined against the walls are shops selling many different things from alcohol to clothes.
"This is amazing!" I scream to Tanna and Jayden over the loud music.
"I knew you would like it!" Tanna yells back.
"Like it? I love it!" I exclaim. The atmosphere is incredible with the music blasting, people dancing and others singing, I honestly have never felt so energised.
"Come on, let's dance" Tanna squeals while leading me over to the dance floor. I look back to see Jayden high fiving some guys who are obviously his friends.
"He met those guys a little while ago, I don't like 'em" Tanna tells me as I follow her onto the dance floor. "Something feels off about them".
"Yeah, I got that vibe too" I say back.
The song suddenly changes and Tanna and I start singing along.
"I know what boys like, I know what they want, they want that good thing, they wanna get some. I know what boys like, I know what they want..." I sing/scream along while jumping up and down and dancing with Tanna.
After an hour of jumping and screaming song lyrics with Tanna I decide to go and get a drink.
"Just a water, thanks" I tell the bartender with a smile.
"One moment" He replies and goes to grab a water bottle.
I turn around to face the massive room and lean my back against the bar while I wait for the water. My vamp hearing suddenly pics up voices near me.
"Should we spike her drink?" asks a voice somewhere around me. I instantly look around, searching for the source of the voice.
"No, it's too obvious" Speaks another voice, this voice is deeper than the other one. "We should wait until a vulnerable moment and then approach".
