Lucy
Mr. Alors was a nice teacher. He was pretty weird too. He introduced me to his 'special' broom. Every time someone touched or tried to touch the broom, he'd scream like he was batshit crazy. It was pretty funny actually but it would scare the hell out of us at the same time. Mr. Alors didn't really teach much on science today, he really went over the rules that included the broom.
The next class was English with Mr. Gryder. It's was an ok class. He was a very cautious, quiet, strict man but he taught well. I learned some things that I can include in the book I'm writing. Yes, I want to be an author as well as a musician and singer.
We are currently at lunch right now. The group separated into girls and boys. The guys sat with people that I met in class, such as Erik, Jet, and Droy. Us girls sat with Laki, Cana, And Kinana. I've made several friends today and it makes me so happy.
"Hey Lucy, what's it like being the daughter of the owner of one of the most famous clothing companies?" Cana asked. How do I answer this without sounding like my life was hell... even though it really was.
"Nothing special. I didn't really care much for the company. I only cared for music and improving my skills." Well that's partially true. I hope it sounds believable. At the same time, though, I sounded like I'm a selfish person only caring for my own improvement. Oh well too late now.
"What school did you go to before?"
"I went to an all girls school called 'S. Hikari Private School'. I didn't really like it much because most girls were stuck up and rude."
"How old are you?"
"17."
Why am I being asked so many questions?!
"Have you ever had a boyfriend?"
"No, I never really thought about having one actually." Cana smirked at my answer.
"Well you're being stared at by the guys over there," she said, nodding her head in their direction. I turned around and noticed that she was right. The guys were staring at me. Hell, everyone in the cafeteria were taking glances or were straight up staring. It's making me feel extremely uncomfortable. I just looked down at my sandwich as if it were the most interesting thing ever.
"Hey K-Kinana, has Erik a-asked you out y-yet?" Juvia's voice caught my attention. I wonder why she's always nervous and stutters.
"No... I heard him tell his friends that he thinks I don't like him when I really do. I've liked him since we were little, always looking for snake books in the library," Kinana said quietly. Erza's head quickly snapped towards them. She slammed her hands on the table and stood up.
"How dare he think you don't like him when you're clearly in love with him!" She said, loudly, extremely loudly, catching the attention of almost the entire cafeteria. Kinana's face rivaled Erza's hair.
"Erza, be quiet and sit the hell down!" Laki whispered-yelled. The red heads eyes widened and she turned around. She blushed and quickly took her seat.
I turned around, only to see Erik smirking. Poor Kinana.
"At least now he knows you're interested," I nervously laughed. Cana and Levy bursted out laughing.
"Sorry Kinana," Erza apologized. She only shook her head as if saying it's alright.
The bell rang and we all headed to music class with Ms. Strauss, aka Mira! Yay, I'm excited! Wait. Yesterday she told me I'm in for a surprise. Now I'm not so sure if I'm excited.
"Hi Lucy!" Mira yelled when we walked in. She ran up to me, giving me a tight hug. "How was your day today?"
"It's been great so far. I've made a lot of friends and I really like this school!" I smile widely. I really am enjoying Fairy Tail. It's way better than my old school. At least here there aren't snobby rich girls.
"That's good, I'm glad you- Natsu's not here again?" Mira asked. I turn around and she's right, Natsu wasn't there. Now that I think about it he wasn't with us on the walk here.
"Should I go look for him?" Erza asked.
"No Erza, let's leave the poor kid alone. He'll come when he wants to, I'm sure of it.
"Anyways, take your seats. Lucy will be doing the first-day-performance pretty soon." I sat next to Gray, Levy sat with Laki, Juvia with Gajeel, and Jellal with Erza.
I started to get nervous. I haven't performed in years. Hell I haven't sang in front of anyone in those years.
"Psst, Lucy! Don't be scared," Gray whispered. Was my nervousness that obvious?
"So wait. I'm going to perform, right? Do I sing or play an instrument?" I asked him in a whisper. He tapped his chin, pondering.
"I don't think it matters. Do what you feel you're better at I guess." I nodded.
"So Lucy, please come to the front of the class." I walked to the front not as scared.
"Will you be singing or playing an instrument?"
"Singing."
"What song do you want to sing?"
"...I don't know."
"Do you want us to choose a song for you?" I nodded. Students were shouting out different names of songs and artists. An idea popped into my head. I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier.
"Wait, I want to sing a song that I wrote."
---
Okay, I'm going to say this now, the song Lucy chooses to sing, she/I did not write lol. I just wanted the fact that Lucy writes her own music in this chapter.
