Lucy

The bell rang and Jellal and I are on our way to social studies. We're almost there when my feet just stay glued to the floor. My heart starts beating, my breathing becomes erratic, my hands start shaking. Peoples eyes are still on me, probably from my little anxiety attack or because I'm new here.

Jellal probably noticed how I wasnt next to him because he turned his head and started looking around. Upon seeing me, his eyes softened.

"What's wrong, Lucy?" He came up to me, putting his hand on my shoulder.

"This is my f-first time in a public school and with boys. I was in a p-private all girls school back at home."
Jellal chuckled.

"There's no need to get nervous. The moment you introduce yourself, you're going to be part of our family. Fairy Tail. You're pretty much one of us now." He smiled which helped me calm down. Part of their family. It may not be official but I have this feeling that being here will change my life.

I took a couple deep breaths then nodded.

"Plus, my group of friends have the same classes as us, coincidentally. You'll fit in. Now c'mon." We walked into class and I wasn't really scared anymore.

Everyone looked at me the moment I walked in, except one girl. She had short, blue hair and her bangs were pulled back by an orange bandana. This girl was also wearing really pretty red glasses. She caught my eye right away. I'm kind of glad she stayed reading her book instead of looking up at me. Speaking of books, she's reading one of my favorites!

"Oh, Lucy! It's good to see you again!" Ms. Evergreen snapped me out of my thoughts of the book. She came up to me and gave me a tight hug. "Guys this is Luciana Hearfilia. She's a new student. Please welcome her here at Fairy Tail!" She's awfully cheery. She seemed quite serious the last time I saw her.

"You can call me Lucy," I added.

"Lucy I want you to sit next to Levy, the one reading the book." I sat at the desk next to her. Levy noticed me and gave me a cute smile.

"I noticed the book that your reading, it's one of my favorites!" I beamed. I really liked the book. Two teenagers going back in time to stop a curse from being activated and along the way love between them starts to bloom.

"It's one of my favorites too! Ive read it about three times. I absolutely love how Jarrod tries so hard to stop Kate from staying behind with Rhauk."

"Yeah and how Kate doesn't care about what happens to her, she just wanted Jarrod to have a safe future, free from the curse. Their relationship was so sweet." And with that, our friendship started. We continued to talk about books throughout class. I also took notes on Ms. Evergreens lesson on political economy.

The bell rang and Levy, Jellal and I start to head to math class.

"Hey Jellal, I don't remember seeing you last period."

"You two sat in the front while I sat in the back corner. Plus I left for the last half of the class to find some idiots." Idiots? What is he, a babysitter?

"By idiots he means our friends. You'll meet them next period," Levy said.

Math class was small. I met Mr. Conbolt. He showed me pictures of his son, Romeo, and practically told me everything about him. He seems like a sweet guy and a great father to Romeo.

I sat next to Levy and Jellal stood behind us, helping me with a math problem.

We were half way through the class when two guys barged in, out of breath.
One of the guys had spiky raven hair, dark blue eyes and a bored face. The second guy was slightly taller, had piercings on his face, red slits for eyes and dark long, shaggy hair. They both looked intimidating, just like how Jellal did when he walked into the my grandpas office.
