Lucy
Mira, Laxus and I just finished eating breakfast.
"What are you guys going to do today?" I asked.
"I'm going to be working at the café today. One of the employees called out sick," Mira answered.
"I'm gonna hang out with the guys. I haven't seen Bickslow and Freed in a while," Laxus looked at me. "How about you?"
"I'm not sure. I might go out for a run, or walk around town a bit."
"Oooooou! I recommend taking a run at Blooming Park. I used to always go for runs around there on weekends but lately I've been feeling kind of queasy."
"Oh alright, I'm gonna start getting ready and I hope you feel better Mira." I head up to my room after giving my brother and future sister-in-law a kiss on the cheek.
Searching through my drawers, I find a pair of black yoga pants and a navy blue teeshirt. I put on a pair of sneakers and grab my phone and headphones and walk out of my room. Going down the stairs, I put my hair up in a messy bun.
I do some stretches, warming up my body before leaving. I put my headphones on and one of my favorite songs start playing; Hymn for the weekend by Coldplay ft. Beyoncé.
The park is about ten minutes from the house.
After running for about a half an hour I take a break. I sit on a near by bench, taking deep breaths, trying to calm my heart beat. Right when it does, something furry jumps onto my lap. Opening my eyes I yelp. Sitting on my lap was a reddish-brown cat with pointy ears, staring at me with their big dark eyes.
"Hey there fella, aren't you such a cutie," I coo, scratching behind his ears. He purred. I gasp, that was one of the cutest sounds I've ever heard. He moved his head to the side, giving me better access. I keep saying 'he' even though I don't know it's gender.
When he moved his head, I see a small collar around its neck. Looking at the charm I see its name; Lector. That's an odd name. Looking on the back it says "Owner- Sting Eucliffe" but no contact information. Well that's dumb.
Lector laid down.
"Are you tired Lector?" He purred, I'm taking that as a yes.
Maybe I should sing a song. I'm singing more than usual this week. What song should I sing? Eh...First song that comes to my mind.
"A summer rain is passing over
And it feels like a dream
I could run and look for shelter
But you hold onto meI'm under your skies
I'm caught in your eyes
Don't you know you stop the room
And all that I can see is you
I'm standing where the lightning strikes
I know this doesn't happen twice
You must be my once in a lifetime, in a lifetime
You must be my once in a lifetime-""There's so much that I have told you
But it's all in my head
Ask me anything you want to
'Cause the answer is yes
I'll spend my whole life
Just being caught up in your eyes"I let out a squeal when I heard this masculine voice. Turning around I see a guy leaning on the bench. He had spiky blonde hair, a little lighter than my own, dark blue eyes and his left ear is adorned with a blue crystal earring. Above his right eye is a thin, diagonal scar. He grinned, showing his abnormal sharp canines.
Okay, so he's the fourth person I've seen with those sharp teeth. Now what. Is he going to have sharp senses too!?
"That cat on your lap," he points at Lector. "Yeah, he's mine." He held out a hand.
"I'm Sting Eucliffe, nice to meet you," he winked. Eh this is kind of awkward. I shook his hand.
"I'm Lucy Heartfilia, nice to meet you too, Sting."
"Well Lucy, you have a really nice voice." I smile.
"And you have an absolutely adorable kitty," I hold the said cat up. Sting grabs Lector and places him on his shoulder.
"So Lucy, how did you find Lector."
"...I didn't. He found me." Sting raised a brow.
"And how did you lose him?" Sting opens his mouth but closes it a second later.
"I didn't lose him," he muttered, looking at the red cat that surprisingly fell asleep on the blondes shoulder.
"Oh yeah? And why was he alone when he came to me?" Sting rubbed the back of his neck and let out a nervous laugh.
"Never mind that, what brings you to this park?" Changing subjects, huh.
"I came here for a run, and you?"
"I wanted to take this little guy on a walk," he scratched Lector's back. "Hey are you new here? I don't remember seeing you around. I may not live in the area but I do visit repeatedly."
"Yeah I moved to my brothers last week. What part of Fiore are you from?"
"Dawn City." My eyes widened. That's on the other side of Fiore. "Anyways blondie, wanna walk around town? Probably get a bite to eat?" Blondie? This guys a blonde too!
"I'm not too hungry but sure!"

It's October 8th, a Saturday, in the story, if that makes sense.
Lucy makes two new friends! Many more to come!
