A/N Not edited so there might be a lot of mistakes, heh. I just want to finish Songbird and go through 'intense' revisions after.

But anyways, enjoy!

Lucy

"So what exactly are you picking up from your house and bringing to Natsu's?" Cana asked for what seemed like the hundredth time.

"I already told you, I'm getting some dragon toy and asking Natsu if it's his."

"And why would it be his?"

"The initials E.N.D we're stitched at the bottom of it."

"And how do you know if those are Natsu's initials?"

I groan, and throw my hands in the air. "Why all the questions, Cana!"

"Well hot stuff, I just wanted to bother you."

I roll my eyes but feel the corners of my mouth twitch. I love this girl so much even if we haven't known each other for that long.

I glance at Cana and poke her in the rib. "So how's it going with you know who?" I watched as her facial expression turned serious and how her grip on the wheel tightens.

"Nothing new. I found out that he's coming back tomorrow, though." I could practically hear her grinding her teeth. Poor thing.

A couple things started to make sense. The call she got before we left her house and how she reacted to it and what she said back at the cafe.

"When are you going to tell him, Cana? You said you've  been trying to for years."

"I don't know if he even deserves to know." She sighs and shakes her head. "I shouldn't say that. He didn't know so I can't blame him."

Since I know Cana doesn't want to talk about it, I decide to drop it. Taking my phone out of my bag, I send a quick text to Natsu, letting him know that I'm almost to his house.

"Why do you want to show Natsu the toy?"

"If there's any chance that I knew him before I moved here, I want to know. I just need to know."

"Oh sweetheart, I just thought it was an excuse to see him." She laughs. I scoff and look out the window.

She's not wrong, though.

We made it to Natsu's a couple minutes later.

"Bye Sexy, you better use protection!" Cana shouts as I walk up the steps to the front door.

My head couldn't have turn any faster. My jaw drops, not only because of what she said but from how loud she said it.

"Cana!" I shout back. Said girl only laughs and drives away. I shake my head and sigh, turning back to the door. Only to find someone standing in doorway, causing me to flinch. "Jesus, Natsu you scared me! How'd you know I was here!?"

"I heard Cana."

Well, damn.

"So what did you want to ask me?"

"Uh I just need a bit of clarity on something but can I come in? It's a bit serious to me."

"Oh right, sorry. Come in." Natsu stood up straight and rubbed the back of his neck. He took a step to the side so I can walk past him.

"Let's go to the living room." He pointed to the right where the said room was. The walls were painted burgundy and adorned with expensive looking paintings.

I walked around the room while he left to get us something to drink, admiring Natsu's family photos until I come across one of him when he was little with some man. I'm assuming that man is his father. The photo next to that one also had him in it. A few more on the walls too.

My head starts to hurt, the sharp pain causing me to his and rub my temple. I usually never get head aches so this is odd.

Natsu comes back and hands me a bottle of water. "You good?" He asks, a worried look in his green eyes.

"Yeah, I'm just getting a headache." I shake my head no and thank him when he offers me medicine. I take a seat on one side of the love seat while Natsu sits across from me.

"I'm just going to get straight to the point. Have we met before I moved here?" I press my hands together, as if I were praying, and point them towards the pink-haired teen in front of me.

"Why?" He squinted his eyes and I watch as his jaw clench. I'm taking it as a yes from the way he reacts.

Instead of a verbal answer, I pull out the red dragon from my bag. Upon seeing it, Natsu's eyes widen and he straightens his posture.

"So is that a yes?" He doesn't answer. His eyes are glued on the toy. I may be wrong but I swear I saw happiness in his eyes.

Him not answering, though, ticked me off. "What's your first name?"

"Natsu."

I shake my head. "Your first name starts with an E. What is it?"

Natsu furrows his brows and his eyes meet mine. "Etherious."

I choke on my spit. "Etherious?! That's such a cool name!"

He raises a brow, "Really? Everyone usually thinks it's weird."

"It's better than a basic name like Lucy (a/n no offense to anyone named Lucy). Etherious is pretty unique." Natsu covers his mouth and turns his head to the side, looking everywhere but at me. I can tell he's smiling because of the way his eyes squint a bit. I can't help but smile too.

"Lucy isn't your full name, it's Luciana. The story behind it is actually pretty sweet. The L.U.C.I. is from your dads sister that passed away before she was born and the A.N.A is from your moms sister that got really sick and had to leave to the U.S for medical treatment," he looked down at his lap and smiled again.

I smirked, my plan worked. "Gotcha."

Natsu's head snapped up and his eyes were wide. "Shit."

"So you basically answered my question from earlier because you wouldn't have known about that if we haven't met before." I click my tongue and furrow my brows. "Do you not want to talk about it, because I'll respect that."

"No, it's just- fuck. A lot happened and it has to do with you not remembering. It's just- I'm not ready to talk about it." Now it was my turn to have my eyes wide open.

So something happened to me and it explains why I can't remember much. Well great.

"Was it that bad?" I just had to ask.

"Heart wrenching." Oh man, I really want to know what happened. "Hey do you want to stay and watch a movie?" He asked, changing the subject.

How he can go from a depressing mood to an excited one, I don't know.

"Sure, sounds like fun." I answer with a smile.

Anything to get my mind off of the confusing thoughts in my head.
