**************************Lucy
The blue haired lady brought me to the fantasy section. She pulled out two books and handed them to me.
"Here's The Dragon's Promise and Song of the Nightingale," she stared at me before smiling. "Your mother was a very talented writer."
"H-how-"
"For starters, you look exactly like her and my daughter talks about you all the time, Lucy." I stare at her confused. "Does the name Melissa Mcgarden ring a bell?"
"Oh, you're Levy's mom! It's nice to meet you! Levy looks just like you."
Melissa nodded, "She's at the cafe reading some book about metalwork if you wanted to see her." She looked at the two books in my hand, "Will you be checking those two out?"
After checking out the books, I made my way towards the cafe. After trying to decide if I wanted something (not really trying, I can never fight my need for something sweet), I order a strawberries and cream frappuccino and a chocolate chip muffin. My sweet tooth will seriously be the death of me.
There she was, sitting in the corner, reading a really thick book and using her red glasses that has wings on the side of the lens. I walked towards Levy and sit right in front of her. She didn't even bother looking up. I waited a few minutes for her to notice my presence, which didn't happen. With a huff, I flick the blue haired girl's forehead causing her to jump.
"Oh hey Lu," she says, looking back down at her book. This girl–
"Dude, I need your help." She glances up at me. Oh now I have her attention! Great now I need to think of something I need help with.
"Uhh...I don't know what to wear for the Halloween dance."
Levy giggles, closing her book, "About that, Erza, Juvia and I came up with the idea of just wearing a mask and a nice dress. Nothing too flashy and difficult, just how I like it." That's actually a pretty good idea.
"Are the guys doing the same?"
"I only asked Gajeel so far and he said he's down for whatever."
"Ouu~ you and Gajeel huh?" I raise a brow and smirk. Levy looks down at her vegan brownie with wide eyes and a red face.
"W-we're just...talking. Nothing serious." She says with a low voice. I snort, this oblivious bookworm.
"Seriously, Levy, how is it not serious? Do you not see how he looks at you? Or how he's so protective when it comes to you?"
She slaps my shoulder playfully, "No he does not." She looked up at me with a smirk and an evil glint in her eyes. Oh no...
"How about you and Natsu? I heard you're already growing on him in the few weeks you've been here. That's new." I look away, with a blush blooming on my cheeks.
"I don't see how considering Natsu and I don't even talk much outside of school. He's too caught up on the whole Tartarus situation. Honestly, I really want to help him, I know it looks like I can't do much but I want to try," I say, slight frustration evident in my voice. "I don't know why I really want to help him. I don't know why when he told me everything...I wanted to cry so much. I wanted to hug him and take all of his pain away." Great, now my emotions are going crazy. I look at Levy and see tears in her eyes, which causes me to panic a bit.
"L-Lu, you r-really care about h-him. That's so-so flipping cute! Y-y-you guys are my number one otp. N-Nalu better happen, oh my gosh," she puts her face in her hands. She gasps and looks at me with a serious expression. "I have to tell Mira, she can do something about this."
"No! I heard from Cana that Mira is called a She-Demon and Matchmaker! And I live with her so I'd appreciate if you don't tell her– don't you dare text her!"
Levy puts her phone down with a smirk on her face, "Too late." I gape at her, watching as she wipes her tears away. "Anyways let's not talk about boys, let's talk about the dance. Do you and Jellal have your songs picked out?"
"Yeah, we're going to do a duet. I still have to choose another song."
"Let me choose it!"
Before I could even freaking reply, Levy took out a piece of paper and a pen from God knows where and wrote down the name of a song. I feel my face start to heat up because I knew she was going to choose a song like that. "Fine, fine, whatever. I'll sing this song."
About an hour and a half later, Mrs. Mcgarden comes by, turning on the tv and started watching the news."Good Lord, again?" Levy and I stopped talking once we heard Mrs. Mcgardens distressed voice. "Magnolia is getting so dangerous."
"...Salamander strikes again. Whoever this rebel is, they were successful in robbing the Magnolia City Bank. Just the other day Salamander worked with the infamous Dark Ice and Black Steel to rob the Pristine Jewelry Store in Hargeon. Just what are these troublemakers doing with all that jewelry and money?" The newsman reported, his voice sounding very dramatic.
"It kind of smells like... Salamander?"
Rogue nodded, "I was thinking the same thing."
"There's a salamander in my room!?" She screeched.
"N-no! We meant Natsu, we call him Salamander sometimes!" Rogue reassured.
No...this is just a coincidence...
I glance at Levy and she's staring at me with a nervous expression. I look back at the television, seeing a picture that's makes my doubts disappear.
"Fortunately for the police, a witness took a picture of this unknown criminal, Salamander." A picture of a person with a baggy black hoodie, black jeans and sneakers showed up. Whoever this was, you couldn't see their eyes because the white cloth wrapped around their forehead created a shadow. They had a red and black bandana tied around their neck and they had a large grin plastered on their face. A wide malicious grin.
A cheeky grin similar to the one that always makes my heart race.
God, please tell me I'm wrong.
I threw away my trash and picked up my books. "I'm going home, see you at school. Bye Levy, Mrs. Mcgarden." I give them both a hug and take my leave.

"I just got off the phone with Ryos. His and blondie's secret is out." I said, chucking my phone on the sofa beside me.
"Who'd they tell?"
"Heartfilia." He cursed under his breath then groaned loudly.
"Why the fuck did they tell her! Shit, she's going to find out about us. I just know it. Lucy is too smart to think nothing's going on. She's gonna want to go back home." He pulled at his gelled hair.
I sigh, tightening my ponytail, "We're just gon' have to wait and see."
"I know, but what are we going to do about...him?"
We look at the limp body on the ground in front of us.
Well, shit.

Okay hello hello!
Like I said in the beginning of the chapter, this isn't proofread so some parts probably don't make sense. I'm excited for the next chapter because it's in a new POV (they're not a new character to the story, I just never used their POV... I think)
Anyways, it's been a year since I posted the prologue to this book! I just want to thank you all again for sticking with us and being patient.
I hope you enjoyed the chapter!
Wish you all a Happy New Years!
