I look at myself in the mirror and sigh. Tonight's the dance and I'm going dateless. Well, technically I'm going with my friends to end Jesse but hey, what's the difference?

Damn I really should've asked Benny...

I cringe in disgust at my figure. I was right, I shouldn't even go... I'm in a sleeveless white dress that goes to my thighs and have sandals on. Pretty causal for a party but I don't wanna dazzle myself up...

I let my naturally wavy, blonde locks out and take my mothers necklace that she gave me as a child that I hardly took off. It was a blue crystal. A moon crystal I think.

I hug my sides and sigh in frustration, I don't like the way I look... What am I saying? I never do.

I jump at my phone ringing, I answer it, "Yo?" I ask, not checking the ID, "Hey!" Benny says, immediately making me smile. "Hey umm, we're all meeting at Ethan's, ok?" He asks, "Yup." I say, starting to get my things "Oh by the way! Do you have a date?" He asks, I sigh.

"Benny. It's me. A person that is completely unlikable, why would anyone like me?" I ask back. There's silence on the other line but then he mumbles something I'm too late to catch,

"What?" I ask, "Uh nothing!" He says awkwardly, "Anyway, what about you? Anyone special?" I ask him as I sit on my bed. "Well yeah about that... We gotta talk when you get to Ethan's." Benny replies, worrying me.

"Um... Sure..." I say, more like a whisper, "Uh, I should go! Y'know, so I can get there on time." I say awkwardly, "OK see ya here ba-" he cuts himself off, "Abigail. See ya here. Abigail." He says awkwardly, "Were you about to call me b-" he cuts me off. "Cya!" He says hanging up.

I roll my eyes getting up, getting my bag, putting my phone in it. I walk outside and lock the door, beginning to walk to Ethan's.

The way feels longer then usually and it's definitely colder. I shiver as I reach the front door, I see Sarah and smile, she greets me and my eyes widen as I scan over her dress, "You look amazing!" I state, Sarah smiles, "So do you! So you ready?" She asks, I sigh and nod, "Yep.". She rings the doorbell and Mrs. Morgan answer,

"Girls! Please do come in, you look gorgeous! I'll call for the boys, Ethan-" she gets cut off as she sees the boys on the stairs.

"Uh, hey guys!" Sarah says awkwardly, I bite my lip trying not to laugh. "You look adorable." Mrs Morgan and I say in sync, I look over at her and smile. "I'll be back! I'm gonna go get camera!" Mrs Morgan says, winking at Benny and walking off.

Ethan smiles and waves at Sarah and I, and Benny looks like he's about to fall over, I frown slightly, "Is it that bad?" I ask Benny, he raises and eyebrow and shakes his head, "No! You look... Beautiful!" Benny says blushing.

I blush back and smile. Ethan and Sarah smirk at each other and leave the room. I raise an eyebrow, "Wha-" I'm cut off by Benny walking over to me and smiling down at me.

"Abigail..." He mumbles, "I've um... Been meaning to ask you this for a while and.. Never really got the chance to, cause you know, whenever I tried to talk to you something would interrupt me or something would happen and-" I cut Benny off,

"What is it you want to tell me?" I ask kindly. He inhales deeply then exhales, "Would you, Miss Abigail Chase. Be my date to the dance?" Benny asks. I smile and nod, "Yes, Mr Benny Weir. I'd love to." I reply.

Benny smiles and laughs a little and within a flash, he grabs my waist and pulls me in and bam! His lips are on mine. My eyes widen but soften and I begin kissing back, he isn't the best kisser but he's doing ok.
