Ok, so I'm trying something different here, as I've read a few Haikyuu!! one-shots that have this in it, and I wanted to try it out. So, tell me if you liked this and I'll be sure to write more of these in the future. ^-^

1. He's caring and looks out for her.

Judy hated the stairs. She'd fallen down them many times before, and that was when she wasn't pregnant! But, if anyone hated stairs more than Judy, it would be her husband, Nick - mainly because she kept falling down them.

When she got pregnant, Nick insisted on moving to live in a bungalow, but Judy reassured him that she would just have to be more careful. But that hate for stairs still lingered around both animals, and Judy actually did wish that she and Nick could live in a house with none, but she let that idea fade.

She was dreading the day when her stomach grew too big for her to see over and she wouldn't be able to see which step was where and where she was going, so she wanted to get all of her pee out her system before it was too late, even though that wouldn't help.

Judy placed one foot on the first step, and that was when Nick burst out of the living room, scaring the living daylights out of his wife.

"What are you doing?!" He asked, worry plastered all of his face.

"Uh...going to the bathroom?" Judy replied, raising an eyebrow as she jabbed a thumb over her shoulder up the stairs.

"Ohh, no. Not without me you're not," he stated, walking over to his wife and picking her up bridal style.

Judy squealed and held onto Nick's neck, afraid that he might drop her.

"Nick!" She exclaimed.

"We can't have you falling down the stairs again, that wouldn't be good for the baby," he cooed, patting her non-existent bump.

"Nick, I'm pregnant, not disabled; I'm pretty sure I can walk up the stairs," she reassured. "The only reason I'm always falling down the stairs is because of you overreacting about something that doesn't even matter."

"And because of your flat feet," he mumbled.

"What was that?"

"Nothing!" Nick exclaimed, hoisting Judy up in his arms. "To the bathroom we go!"

2. He's generous and willing to do anything to keep his Mrs happy.

"Honey, I'm home!" Nick called out, stepping into the house, his hands full of plastic shopping bags. "Huh, I've always wanted to say that."

"Hey baby!" Judy called from in the kitchen.

Nick headed straight for where he heard his wife's voice and dumped the bags onto the kitchen table, raising an eyebrow at his pregnant wife, who was reaching up into the top cupboard trying to reach something.

"What are you doing?" He asked with a chuckle.

Judy ignored his question, continuing with her search for what she needed to satisfy her cravings.

"Hey, have we got anymore chocolate syrup?" She suddenly asked, turning around and placing her paws on her hips.

"Um...I don't think so?" Nick replied, a little unsure.

Judy scrunched her nose up and sighed. "Dangit."

"Why? Are you craving some?" He asked, walking around the counter and placing his paws on Judy's hips.

She nodded and blushed a little, embarrassed that her cravings were so strange.

"No worries, I'll go back out and get some," he announced proudly, giving his wife a reassuring smile.
