yES I KNOW! ANOTHER THIRD PERSON ONE-SHOT. I'm only writing this one in General POV because it's an AU (I'm sorry!) where they're both children. I think from now on that if I'm writing one-shots from when they're children, I'll do it in third person because their minds are too wittle to have real emotions. They'll just grow up to be dark and emotionless like me...🤗

"Nick, that's stupid!" Twelve year-old Judy laughed as her and her best friend, Nick, walked down the street.

"What? I'm actually considering going trick or treating as Robin Hood," Nick stated, laughing a little himself.

"People already think you're a criminal mastermind, Nicky. If you go around on Halloween night with a bow and a couple arrows, imagine what you'll be like then," Judy said, trying to keep her steps in sync with Nick's.

"Plastic arrows, Judy," Nick corrected, stuffing his hands back in his pockets.

Judy hummed in reply and pulled the straps of her school bag over her shoulders. Her day wasn't great but it wasn't rubbish either, just average. At least she had Nick beside her all day, which made her life that extra bit brighter.

For the whole day, Nick had been going about Halloween next week and about his idea to go as Robin Hood, and it only just then occurred to Judy that she didn't have a Halloween costume.

"I don't know what I'm gonna go trick or treating as yet," she shrugged, keeping her eyes trained on the concrete below her.

"You could go as a pumpkin," Nick suggested, and Judy shot him down straight away.

"Absolutely not," she declared.

"I'm being serious, look!" Nick said, stopping in front of a shop with a display window.

Judy stopped and turned around to see a pumpkin costume on display in the local costume store. She looked over at Nick in exasperation as he stood with his mouth agape in happiness.

"Nick, I'm not going trick or treating as a pumpkin," she stated bluntly, her expression not changing.

"Come on, Carrots, I think you'd look cute!" Nick exclaimed.

Judy took a deep and angered breath through her nose as she stood up straight.

"What have we said about calling me cute?" She asked, her voice strained.

"Ugh, come on! Don't be such a buzzkill and do something fun for once!" Nick groaned, actually ready to resort to getting down on his knees and begging.

Judy looked at her friend with tired eyes as he gave her his signature puppy dog eyes, making his ears droop in fake sadness.

"Fine!" She caved in, her shoulders dropping down in defeat.

"Yay!" Nick yelled before hugging Judy tightly.

"But you're paying though," Judy said.

"Deal!"

*Time skip to Halloween night because come on?!*

Judy opened her front door, a monotone expression on her face when Nick burst into a fit of laughter right then and there.

"Haha, very funny," Judy said sarcastically. "Now let's go, Robin Hood."

Nick agreed to leave once he had finally stopped laughing by shaking his head.

"Bye Mom!" Judy called out before rushing out of the house and closing the door behind her.

Every now and then, Judy would notice Nick glance over at her with a smile stretched across his lips as he tried to hold back a laugh. She stared daggers at him, and he cleared his throat nervously.

"You look good though," he said through a snigger.

Judy eventually lightened up and let out a small:

"You don't look so bad yourself."
