Waking up, curled in Jason’s arms, was the best morning of my life. I blinked my eyes awake, leaving my arms wrapped around him. He moved over me and turned my alarm off.

“You awake?”

“Yeah.”

Morning breath, Kate. Just don’t breath in his face.

“Are your parents home?”

“No, but Megan is. You’ll have to leave, but I’ll see you at school.”

“Or, you could take Megan to school and stay here with me, alone, in this bed, the entire day.”

“That sounds great and romantic, but I think we’d be better off going to school.”

“Or, stay here, and be close to me.”

I felt my face go red. I couldn’t say anything. I wanted to run and giggle of excitement, but at the same time hide.

“Oh, Kate. Your face went red. Are you getting a little embarrassed?” He said it so seductively.

“Umm...no...no. I just need to get ready for school.” I slipped out of bed walking backwards. Jason’s eyes looked me up and down.

“Whatcha wearing?”

My mouth fell open as I realized what I was wearing. I felt my face go even redder. I ran to my bathroom. Slamming the door behind me. Okay, think. You're in a see through nightgown. You look like a tomato, and he wants to skip school with you. I need Jess, and bad. My phone is back upstairs and I wouldn’t be able to reach it. Crap. No, you can’t skip another day of school, then again. Jason is really hot, and he wants to spend the day together? What harm could come from this? Then I got a picture of Courtney straggling me. I have to go to school. I walked upstairs. He was still shirtless, and he was looking through my binder.

“What are you doing?” I asked.

“Going through your stuff.” He turned around. “What’s this?”

He held up the letter from Ellie.

“Stuff.”

“When were you going to tell me about this?”

“I don’t know, just never. Didn’t believe the letters anyway.”

I really didn’t need a fight. I needed a distraction. I walked over and grabbed him by the shoulders. “I think I have an answer to your question. Maybe we should stay here, together, all day.”

“Good, and you can tell me about this letters.”

My smirk went to a frown. “Something slipped my mind. I need to go to school.”

Jason left through the window and Megan and me got ready for school. Stopping at the first stop sign, me and Meg listened to the radio. Singing along to the beats. When I pulled out, another car came and smashed the side of the car. The accident wasn’t bad enough for the airbags to explode, but I was immediately pulled out of my car.

Megan screamed and we were put into different vehicles. We were both screaming and shouting. The knife was in the golf compartment, I needed to react it. The man pulling my into the next car held me by one arm, trying to drag me against the ground. I began to fight, and my foot was rammed in between his legs. With all might I forced myself into my car and into the glove department. I grabbed the knife as fast as possible before being dragged out by my legs. I flipped around and began swinging, trying to fight them. The knife skidded across one mans face, blood hit the surface of the blade. The car that Meg was thrown in disappeared onto the road. I felt strong forceful hands grab me. With a rag held to my face, I was forced to breath in and out. The knife was released from the palm of my hand and I was out.
