Adams POV:
The next morning I awoke to beautiful sunlight and light chatter coming from downstairs. I decided that now was probably the time to get myself up and join whomever was already downstairs. I rung for Smith who was up in a shot.
Smith: Good morning my lord, did you have a restful evening?
Adam: Yes I did, how about yourself?
Smith: Very good my lord.
Adam: Has everyone been very welcoming downstairs?
Smith: Yes very nice.
I smile and continue to get ready. Once done I make my way down and see Lord Grandtham and his delightful daughters eating their breakfast.
Robert: Ah Adam my dear chap, please sit.
I smile and take a seat next to Robert.
Sybil: Good morning Adam did you sleep well?
Adam: Very well Lady Sybil thank you.
Mary: Do you have any plans today?
Adam: I was going to head down to town and post a few letters and maybe take a look at some of the history of the town.
Edith: Oh I could take you to some of the historical places around town if you like?
Mary: Edith, Adam is not interested in your version of history.
Adam: No, no it sounds quite enjoyable thank you Lady Edith.
I look over at Jane who is silently eating, I wonder what she is thinking about.
Adam: So, Jane do you have any plans today?
Hoping for her to speak, but I am disappointed when all she does is shake her head.
Edith: Jane darling why don't you come with Adam and I into town, you like history hmm?
She just shrugs her shoulders.
Sybil: Why don't all of us go? We could invite granny, Isebelle and Matthew, we could all make a day of it.
Robert: Are Papa and Mama involved?
I see all the girls laugh.
Sybil: Of course!
Adam: What do you say Jane?
She nodded which was more then I could home for.
Adam: Brilliant!
