Janes POV:
I knew that it was rude to leave the table in the middle of dinner but I just could not stand to be in that room any longer! They all treat me like a child! Like I don't have a mind of my own!

I sigh and flop down onto my bed, I just lay there looking up at the ceiling when I hear a knock on the door.

Sybil: Jane? Are you quite alright?

I look up at my sisters kind glittering eyes and lower my head back down.

Sybil: What on earth is the matter?

Jane: You heard them all talking down there, they were talking like I was not in the room! Like I'm a child who can't control her actions!

Sybil: Look, I went through the same thing at your age, and I still get a bit of it now, it's just something you have to put up with when you are the youngest.

I feel her warm hand rubbing my back soothingly as I have my head in my hands thinking over all that she had told me.

Jane: I understand that I am the youngest but why can't they all just leave me alone!? This is why I spend most of my time in the library.

We then hear another knock on the door and in comes Anna.

Anna: I'm sorry me lady I can come back if you would like.

Sybil: No that alright Anna I was just leaving.

Then Sybil turns to me

Sybil: We will talk more about this tomorrow.

I nod and she exits the room.

Anna: Dud you have a nice day me lady?

Jane: I did until dinner.

Anna: My, whatever happened at dinner that was so awful?

Jane: They all treat me like a child, like I don't have my own mind and I don't know the difference between right and wrong.

Anna: Well with all do respect me lady, you are the youngest, you are the baby of the family and they are just trying to help, you know they mean well.

Jane: Yes I know they love me but you should have heard the way that Papa and Granny were talking, they acted as if I was not in the room!

Anna finished dressing me and put her hand on my shoulder before leaving and I turned out my lights.

Anna's POV:
After undressing all the girls I headed upstairs to undress me self and go to bed.

I walked in my room to find Gwen reading.

Gwen: All the girls settled?

I nod.

Gwen: Anything interesting happen?

Anna: Lady Jane left dinner in a huff.

Gwen: Why? That dosnt seem like her.

Anna: She feels like she is being treated like a child.

Gwen: Well she is the baby, they are just being protective.

Anna: Yes but she does have a point I have noticed the way they talk to her and about her, and she mentioned that tonight they were talking at the dinner table like she was not sitting right there, I can't imagine how that would feel.

Gwen: I guess that would make me angry.

Anna: I know that I would be.

Gwen: Well, what is she going to do about it? Did she say?

Anna: No but right as I came in lady Sybil had been talking to her and before she left she said that they would talk more about it tomorrow so maybe I will get more details then.

Gwen: Well keep me posted.

And with that we blow out our candles.
