No ones POV:
At the house Matthew, Isabelle and Adam were all pacing around the room, their faces all ashen desperately waiting for any news at all in regards to Jane.
Isabelle: Maybe we should go back to the hospital, it has been a few hours and we haven't heard anything.
Matthew: Mother it's not our place to be there right now.
Isabelle: We're her family too aren't we!?
Matthew: We're her cousins mother, that's quiet a different matter.
Isabelle huffs defeated and rings the bell for Carson. He walks in quiet quickly.
Carson: What can I do for you my lady.
Isabelle: Well it seems that the three of us will be here for quiet some time so might we have some tea?
Carson: Very good my lady.
Carson seems to have left the room but in fact he is right outside the library doors listening.
Adam: I do hope Jane is alright, it's puzzling that we haven't heard anything for awhile.
Matthew: I'm sure she's just not awake yet, I mean what else would they telegram to tell us other than she is awake?
They all nod their heads in agreement and Carson shuffles back downstairs to ask for the tea and to let everyone in on the news.
***********Downstairs**************
Anna: What do you mean Lady Jane is in the hospital!? Is she all right!?
Carson: All I heard was something about her having an accident and still being unconscious.
Everyone was talking over each other in a panic, everyone in the house had a soft spot for Jane.
Gwen: So nobody has heard anymore news in hours!? What does that mean!?
Carson: I don't know, everyone just would you please calm down!? I know no more than you do but I'm sure we will hear something soon!
Thomas: How badly is she injured!? I need to know exactly what happened!?
Everyone got very quiet at Thomases outburst. You see one of the only people that Thomas actually cared for was Lady Jane. She had always been very kind to him and always took time out of her day to talk to him.
Carson: I don't know Thomas, I will find out all that I can, now if you don't mind I need to bring this tea up.
And with that Carson headed back up the stairs to the library.
***************The Hospital************
Lord and Lady Grantham, The Dowager Countess and the girls were all huddled around around Janes bed.
Edith: I just don't understand how this could have happened!? Wasn't she with Mr. Gregson?
Lord Grantham: You know, I don't actually recall seeing him anywhere near where Adam found Jane.
Lady Grantham: How odd, well surely he didn't leave her.
Mary: Unless he never went at all.
Everyone got quiet.
Lord Grantham: We will discuss this further later after Jane has recovered.
Just then Janes eyes open and squint at the light in the room.
Lady Grantham: Oh my baby, you're alright! How do you feel? Are you in pain?
Edith: Would you like some water?
Sybil: Let Jane have a minute to breath.
Jane: In response to mamas question I'm not great but I'm ok and yes Edith, thank you water would be most appreciated.
