Adams POV:
After a rather quiet dinner I went up to bed to find Smith waiting for me.Smith: How was dinner my Lord?
Adam: Actually, it was rather quiet im afraid, the daughters were arguing for most of it and then it just went quiet, I could have heard a pin drop.
Smith: Well, that's unfortunate but I assume that the rest of your day with the family was, satisfactory?
Adam: Yes, I dare say it rather was. Lady Edith told me all about the history of the town, that is until Lady Jane corrected her.
Smith: Corrected her sir?
Adam: Well, apparently Lady Edith got a date wrong so Lady Jane jumped in and corrected her, and that was the first and the last time I heard her talk all day.
Smith: She's rather a quiet one I do say sir, Lady Jane I mean.
Adam: I suppose so, though the family keeps reassuring me that she is actually quiet the energetic one.
Smith: Well, I'm sure you'll see that side of her one day my Lord.
Adam: I do hope so.
Smith: Well, if there isn't anything else, I believe I will say goodnight my lord.
Adam: Goodnight Smith.
And with that I turned out the lights.

DownstairsThe following morning all of the sergeants were attending to their normal jobs until they finally all sat down to breakfast where the normal gossip would begin.
Mr. Carson: Has everything been tidied up before the family comes down?
Everyone nods their head in unison.
Mr. Carson: Very well.
Thomas: Last night was quiet the bizarre dinner.
Mr. Bates: How do you mean?
Thomas: It was very quiet, that is after the girls started to talk about their trip with Lord Redmond into the village.
Daisy: Why would that bother anyone?
Thomas: How should I know.
Matthew: It seems that it was something about how Lady Jane corrected Lady Edith about some history facts.
O'Brian: Well, I'm glad that someone finally put her in her place, Lady Jane knows more then Lady Edith anyway.
Mr. Carson: Always a joy to have you at the table Ms. O'Brian.
All of the sudden the chimes from the rooms started to go off.
Thomas: And their off.
Anna: That's Lady Jane.
Mrs. Hughes: Have the tea trays been prepared?
Anna: Yes Mrs. Hughes.
Mrs. Hughes: Very good.
And with that Anna headed up to Lady Janes room.

Lady Janes POV:
I awoke to rain puttering on my window, I ring for Anna and stand up to look out the window. The door opens and in comes Anna with my clothes for the day.Anna: Good morning me Lady.
Janes: Good morning Anna! Did you sleep well?
Anna: I did me lady, thank you. And how about yourself?
Jane: Like a babe.
Anna: I'm glad. Thomas was saying that dinner was a bit quiet last night.
Jane: Did he?
Anna: Yes, he said something about you and Lady Edith and history facts?
Jane: Oh that, it's nothing, I simply corrected Edith on a date, everyone thought that it was a brilliant correction but I informed them that I only corrected a date and that Edith gave all the facts.
Anna: Well, it seems to just be a sisterly competition.
Jane: I sure hope that Edith thinks so.
Anna smiles and then continues to get me ready for the day.
