Chapter 28

Colby POV

Luna slept softly on my chest as I starred up at the ceiling.

I traced my fingertips along her arms.

Suddenly a buzz rang out from my phone.

Luna squirmed as I reached over and picked it up.

Calendar ___________________
Reeds birthday tomorrow.

Oh crap! I forgot all about Reed!

I tapped at my screen and pulled up my contacts.

Slipping out from under Luna, I quickly replaced my body with a pillow.

I clicked on Devin and listened to it ring.

"Hello?.."

"Hey Devin. What are we doing for Reeds birthday?" I asked.

"Uh...hmmm...how about we throw a party?.." Devin suggested.

Why not?

"Sure.. I will set up at Reeds house. Cody can get the supplies and you can distract him. Sound good?"

"Yeah. "

"K. Tell Cody please." I added.

"Okay. Night!"

Devin hung up.

I stepped into the kitchen and put my phone on the charger.

"Colby?" Luna whispered from the floor, groggily.

She wiped at her eyes and got up.

"Yeah princess?"

I opened my arms as she crashed back into my chest.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Nothing. We have to go to Reeds party tomorrow that's all." I explained, leading Luna into our room.

I laid down as she slid in next to me.

"Oh okay." She whispered before falling asleep once more.

I turned on my side, pressing my body against her back..

I slid my hands around her waist and fell asleep.

Luna POV

I opened my eyes to see Colby blow drying his hair in the bathroom.

"Colby.." I groaned from bed.

He looked over for a moment and nodded.

"What time is iiiittttttt?" I made sure to hold the it for exaggeration.

"Uh 11:30" Colby said, glancing at his watch.

He was wearing a black button up and tight black jeans, ripped at the knee.

I slowly sat up and reached for my bag.

Shoving the papers down, I grabbed a red flannel, tank, and light jeans.

I eyed Colby and decided to wait until he was done to change.

Finally, I stepped into the bathroom.

Putting on my clothes, I put on eyeliner and mascara.

I brushed my teeth and hair and walked out.

"You look wonderful!" Colby laughed.

"Thank you!" I smiled.

"Ready?" Colby asked, holding out a hand, bowing.

"Yep." I smiled, grabbing it and doing a small curtsy.

Colby chuckled as we headed out the car..

So I have an idea. :)
