Luna POV

I finally eased my breathing as I cuddled under a blanket against the couch.

He will leave Luna..
Or you will leave him..

I never really thought of it like that..

When am I leaving!??

My eyes shot to my phone.

Axel.

I stood up and grabbed my phone, which was laying on the white, fluffy carpet.

I slowly dialed the number as I brought it up to my ear.

I held my breath as I listened to it ring.

"Luna?"

"Hey, um..Axel, when are you coming to get me?" I asked softly.

"About..I don't know.. a week?" Axel responded.

I could picture him shrugging as he played with the hem of his shirt.

"O-okay..thanks." I choked.

I ended the call and slipped back under the blanket.

A week?

It's been so short!

I wiped at my eyes, yawning.

" Say bye bye to the only thing left! " My mind taunted.

At least he won't leave me..he's just simply getting ripped away from me..

That didn't help Luna.

I played with my hands and starred at the floor.

Your gonna be so unhappy..

What will be the point of living anymore?

Maybe I could..

My mind suddenly jump started.

Axel..
He has a gun in his car..ever since he got jumped in that parking lot.

LUNA NO.

Don't.

Out of nowhere, I heard the front door click shut.

I quickly whipped my head around to see who it was, thankful for another distraction.

"You better?" Colby asked, as he threw his keys on the counter.

"Yeah..we need to talk Colby." I mumbled, pulling the blanket up.

I watched him grow tense as he neared the couch.

Finally, he threw himself down next to me.

"...Axel, my brother, he's picking me up in a week." I explained. "I will be gone forever."

Colby starred at me, expressionless.

"Wh..what..?" Colby's voice quivered as he grabbed a hold of my hands.

"I'm sorry.." I whimpered. I couldn't bare to look Colby in the eye much longer.

I looked away as I pulled my hands back.

Colby's eyes grew watery as he fought back tears.

"I love you Luna..you cant leave..I won't leave.." He muttered.

I listened to his full hearted words. I wanting to tell him everything was okay and we would see each other again but that would be a lie.

"You should just stay here! Lets find a way for you to stay! We can hang at Reeds until Axel leaves..Yeah, yeah!" Colby explained.
He silently tried to convince himself it would work even though he knew it wouldn't.

He does care..

This is gonna be difficult.

"You know I can't..I love you Colby.." I whispered, grabbing his forearm.

We sat there, without any TV, phones, anything. Colby wrapped his arms around me as we laid together for hours.

Simply just listening to each other's soft breathing.
