Chapter 40

Luna POV

I drove to the coffee shop and hopped out of the car.

I swiftly walked down the sidewalk, putting my head down as a group of teen girls passed by.

"..She looks like Luna. You know, the one with Colby." one whispered.

"Nah.. that can't be her." Another replied.

I turned sharply into the coffee shop and whipped around to watch the girls finally walk away.

I pulled my hoodie down when someone put their hand on my shoulder.

I turned around to see Cody stand there. He had a small smile on his face as he pulled off my sunglasses.

"I saved us a spot." Cody said, chuckling a bit.

I sat down at a small, white, round table next to a big window.

Cody straightened up as he sat in front of me.

"So..Luna.. I want to apologize.." Cody began.

I nodded silently, crossing my arms.

He chuckled. "Your so cute."

I blinked wildly at him. "Uh...what?"

Cody's smile quickly faded as he slumped his shoulders and peered down at Colby's hoodie.

I pulled on it slightly uncomfortably.

"That's what I was gonna talk to you about, Luna..I really like you. I actually...love you, and I know I am being incredibly stupid for believing your gonna forgive me but here you are. " Cody continued.

"No one said I was forgiving you." I growled slightly.

"..well..I know, but I want you to hear me out. Okay, first off, I have always had a drinking problem. I was clean for a while but I screwed up. I began to drink all my problems away, including you and Colby. I couldn't help it. I couldn't stand it. All I wanted was to forget but there you guys were.." Cody explained, sighing.

"Luna, as soon as I laid eyes on you, I was taken away. Your so beautiful and you make me feel so important..and all I did was take advantage of you. Im sorry." Cody added.

I sat up.

Cody..loves me..

But he hurt me..

And I love Colby.

Cody leaned over the table, eager for a response.

"Cody..im so sorry but I don't like you like that. I can forgive you, but I can't trust you, at least, for now. I would just like to stay friends.. is that okay?" I said, putting my hand on Cody's.

He squirmed a little under my touch as he looked up at me. "...I guess.." Cody mumbled.

"..okay..good, now wheres my white mc-chocolátte or something??" I joked.

He laughed and called over a waitress.

I smiled as we continued to chatter about his upcoming tours and past stories with fans while I sipped on some coffee.

I'm back babies !! Thanks for all the support! I tried to come back a little earlier for you guys.

I am still not completely ready to keep it going daily... but I will update as much as possible :)

Okay so what should the second book be called?
Car crash Pt 2? Or something else?
