chapter 17: (3rd person)

The next morning you were debating whether you should leave your room or not. To be honest all you wanted to do was hide under the covers and pretend none of this was really happening. It took you awhile to find the courage to drag yourself out of bed, you were still upset from yesterday. However, there was no point in hiding from your problems because it wouldn't make them go away.

You went downstairs to the kitchen and saw Oliver preparing breakfast. "morning Oliver". you greeted, He looked over to you and seemed to avoid eye contact "oh, good morning (name)" he said with a hint a nervousness in his voice. He was acting very strange he even called you by your name which was weird because the whole time you've been in the 2p world he called you poppet. You looked at him suspiciously but decided to let it go for now, maybe he just felt awkward because of last night.

"Would you like any help with breakfast Oliver." you asked. "N-no! Just go sit in the living room and I'll shout to you when it's done." he answered immediately. You slowly walked out of the kitchen, why was he acting so strange? You sat down and noticed that Allen and Matt where here, this was strange as well because they would normally be out killing people or, on a lazy day, they would still be in bed at this time. They weren't even fighting, they were just sitting quietly and they NEVER just sat quietly, they always had something to say to someone. "Are you guys alright?" you questioned, this wasn't like them and you had a feeling they were hiding something from you.

"Yeah we're fine. Why do you ask?" Matt asked with raised eyebrow. "I don't know, everyone is just acting strange this morning. Maybe its just me." you answered truthfully but whispered the last part. "Really? Everything seems normal to me." Allen shrugged. You were about to reply when his phone went off, You could see a hint of a smirk on his face as he answered. "what's up?.... oh Really?......finally, we've been waiting for so long.....see you there." he said with a dark chuckle at the end. You wondered who he was talking to. When he hung up he nodded to Matt and they both stood up to leave.

"Wait! were are you going?" you asked. Allen turned his head to give you a side glace but kept walking towards the door. "We're just going on a killing spree (name), nothing that we don't do already. Don't worry about it. we'll be back shortly." and with that, they were gone. You sighed and leaned back in the chair. What was going on with everyone today, its almost like they are trying to avoid you. Oliver walked out of the kitchen you noticed that he also had his phone out, but he quickly put it into his pocket when he saw you. "sorry poppet but I have to go, I have an emergency. Breakfast it on the table for you." And Oliver left as well leaving you the only one in the house.

You wondered where Francois was, normally he was just lazing about somewhere but you hadn't seen him at all today. You didn't even bother eating, you couldn't, your head was full of questions that nobody would answer.

"Maybe I should go to Zao's or Viktor's house? Hopefully they will give me some answers." you said as you grabbed your jacket and walked over to their houses. They didn't live far, in fact you could see their houses as soon as you walked into the garden. Viktor and Zao lived right next door to each other as well so hopefully this wouldn't take long. You knocked on Viktor's house first since it was the closest but there was no answer. You then went over to Zao's house and just as you were about to knock on the door it opened and Viktor and Zao step out. "(name)! Did you come to visit me! You're so adorable! That's so sweet!" Zao gushed. Viktor sighed and grab Zao's collar and started to drag him down the street. "We don't have time for this! We have important business to attend to remember!?" Viktor said as he pulled Zao away. "Wait! Why is everyone acting strange!? What's going on!?" you shouted at them. "It's okay, (name)! just go back home and relax. You will find out soon enough, but for now, don't worry about it." zao said and disappeared around the corner.
