The next morning, I was woken up by someone banging on my door loudly.

"Who is it?" I growled.

"It's me." Arietta called.

"Come in." I called out and the door opened.

"Why are you banging at my door at such an early hour?" I asked.

"Just get ready and come with me please." I sighed and changed quickly before she dragged me out of the room.

"Arietta, what is this all about?" I asked once we finally stopped outside.

"Now is that any way to talk to your sister, Zora?" I froze when I heard the voice. I hadn't heard that voice in almost a year, but it was the same. I knew it anywhere.

"Sync...so when were you going to tell me you were coming here? Or is that only knowledge for God-Generals to know?" I asked harshly as I turned around and saw him standing there. There was a mask covering his face, so I couldn't see his eyes. "And want to explain to me the mask?" He chuckled, but this wasn't the same as the old Sync. I backed away a step.

"What's wrong, Zora?" He asked this time worried as he saw my anxiousness towards him.

"Go away..." I stated quietly.

"What?" He asked confused.

"Go!" I pointed away from me. That's when someone jumped in front of me.

"Jade the Necromancer." Sync said with an obvious hatred towards him.

"Sync the Tempest." Jade spat back. I backed away a few steps. They were going to fight if I didn't do something.

"Please stop both of you." I rushed in between the two. "I know you two don't like each other, but please attempt to get along as long as you're around me." They both lowered their weapons before finally putting them away altogether.

"I have better things to do anyways." Jade remarked and turned walking away. I sighed and looked back at Sync.

"Thank you." I said lightly.

"You know how much I hate that guy." He spat harshly at me. I flinched back and looked down at the ground.

"If that's how you feel then leave. I have no interest in this new Sync. I want my friend back." I turned and rushed away from him into town.

I hadn't been looking where I was going and before I knew it I was knocked into the water by someone who was angry I had bumped into him. I attempted to swim to the surface by my dress was holding me down.

So this was how I was going to die? Drowning to death, because I ran away from the one person who has ever made me feel afraid...

That was when my eyes closed and I blacked out.

"...Zo...Zor...Zora!" I finally was able to make out and I opened my eyes to see Sync hovering over me with a worried Jade and Arietta with him.

"Thank goodness." Arietta said lightly.

"I thought I was too late for a minute there." Sync muttered.

"You saved me...?" I questioned and saw that his uniform was all wet along with his hair. "Thank you..." I coughed up some water.

"Well you're not out of the woods yet, you need to rest before you'll be back at full strength." Jade stated and went to pick me up.

"I got her." Sync said picking me up gently. I looked to my right and saw the castle guards arresting the man who had pushed me into the water.
