This chapter is going to be in Jade's POV as he explains the past he has with Zora.

Finally, we had made it to my hometown of Keterburg, the snow was coming down lightly. I had almost forgotten what this place looked like.

"Jade?!" I turned and saw my sister coming towards me and I sighed.

"Hello Nephry." Everyone looked at me confused.

"Who is that?" Luke asked annoyed that we had stopped.

"This is my sister and the governor of this town." She hugged me tightly and I sighed one more.

"You know after all the years you have been gone you could act a little happier to see me." She stated as she saw my unenthusiastic demeanor.

"You're right, it's good to see you." I said as politely as I could manage. I saw that she was a little less angry.

"Speaking of which, where is Princess Zora?" That's when everyone froze.

"She's..." I started but trailed off unable to bring myself to tell the story.

"Oh god is she...dead?" I shook my head no.

"She's alive and well or at least I'm hoping she is." I muttered.

"Jade, what's going on? I thought you were her caretaker, I thought you were supposed to take care of her until she was married?" I sighed.

"Unfortunately I have failed in that duty." I looked at the ground.

"Jade, I've been meaning to ask, but why do you care so much about her? In the Zao Ruins you looked like you were about to cry when you were talking to her." Guy asked.

"Oh please don't mention the emotions that I had for a split second." I said sarcastically.

"Jade." He pressed.

"Fine, fine. Go to the inn and I shall meet you there, but there is something I have to discuss with my sister." I watched them go and then looked at Nephry. "Nephry, I wouldn't be asking this of you if I had no one else to turn. I ask that if I tell you the truth about the princess that you swear that you will not tell the royal army or his Majesty." She looked at me shocked.

"But why not?" I sighed.

"Because, it is not a good thing I am about to tell you." I told her the entire story to her and when I finished I saw the look of fear and shock on her face.

"Her Royal Highness is working for the God-Generals and is attempting to destroy the world? That is nothing like what the Score says she will do. But I promise I will not tell the Royal Army or the king, but if you promise me something in return." I looked at her confused.

"What is it?"

"I want you to bring her back. I want her to see what she is doing is wrong and I want you to be able to care about someone again. I know that you see her as like a daughter to you and that is why I want you to...make it look like she died and then take her as your own daughter." I was frozen in my place when she said those words.

"You would ask me to lie to his Majesty, tell him his other daughter is dead and then you want me to take her as my own? How could I do such a thing, Nephry?" She looked at the ground.

"Because she makes you happy, happier than I have ever seen you before. If you truly do care about her and if what you tell me about her father and her is true, then she would gladly go along with you. I only ask that you free that girl from the suffering she must have endure since she was a child." I sighed and then thought about the idea of raising Zora as my own daughter.
